Lol - West Coast is the richest football club in Australia by far.

Just spent a week in Adelaide and watched the Crows flog Cockburn. NOLA was the best joint I went to, way better whisky list than anywhere in Perth. Good food and taplist too.

Avoid Hindley Street unless you like shipshape bars, strip clubs and dodgy clubs with a high chance of ending up in a fight. Stick to Peel St and Leigh St if you're in the West End. Lady Burra is a good spot for pregame beers.

East End around Rundle St has all of the best options these days. NOLA as mentioned, Stag is always reliable, old school pubs like Exeter and Austral. I'm too old for late night venues but BRKLYN is good so I'm told.

For food, Golden Boy is great depending on your budget - they only do a banquet menu about $60 but it's delicious and you get a lot of food. Gunbae is fun if you want a cheaper option.

The District in the casino is the best of a sorry bunch for sports if you want to watch the other games. It's always got a good crowd on game days being directly across from the Oval. Adelaide really wants for a decent sports bar in the city

I don't think Carlton should worry too much, they've matched Adelaide since QT and looked okay for the most part. Two good sides going at it for the last three quarters of the game. Adelaide icing the cake a bit now as I say this.

As for Adelaide, it's when your middling players start stepping up that you can genuinely steal a flag. See: Dogs, Eagles. They're setting up well.

Pro tip: Adelaide Oval has started serving imperial pints of beer this season, equivalent to a WA pint, and are the best value option. In addition to a 'pint', which is 425ml.

Also LOL at my phone autocorrecting shisha to shipshape in my previous post. Hindley Street certainly does not have shipshape bars.

Agreed. They have a pretty good spine of quality young players with 50-100 games experience, led by a real talent in Jordan Dawson. Would be great to be in a similar place with our list profile in a few years
