I see us getting into finals in 2009 as the definition of a Bradbury, really. We won 10.5 games and 9th (Hawthorn) won only nine. We were the best of an ordinary bunch hovering around 8th-11th that year.

There are about 2 wins of genuine merit in that streak.

It's quite extraordinary that they've managed to turn a season that, based on finishing 5th and a fixture engineered to seat them in the top 4, into an effort more highly praised than St Kilda's resurrection in '11.
