Port.. well just as a reward for taking a club that was on the verge of collapse off the field.. and putrid on-field and then two years later to hoist a cup.. would give us ALL hope that success if never far away if only you can dream big!

I was just thinking plain old Jackie misses a shot to win after the siren. I can see you've given this some thought.

I think a four quarter dismantling would be ideal. Port with a rock solid defence, complete stoppage domination, powerful overlap running and potent forwardline. Something like 130-40 final score.

Nah.

A skinny KPP kid who - let's be realistic - was pretty average in those early years, still managed to play about 40 games in his first 4 years.

He would've continued to get more games as he developed, but he chose to leave, and as I recall, to play as a forward.

He walked, he wasn't unwanted.
