Sorry missed this. Well since you asked.. He was in town with a production of Waiting for Godot in which he plays one of the bums. So I'm walking back to the office after lunch waiting to cross the street and I see this odd looking old bum walking towards me. What's odd about him is he looks a bit like Ian McKellan. Actually he looks a lot like Ian McKellan. So I put 1 and 1 together and he sees me staring at him and says "Hello" with a smile and a nod as he passes me to which I (quite wittily I think) replied "Hi". Must have been out sightseeing in costume so nobody bothered him.

And that's my Ian McKellan story.

When I was in high school he was doing a production of King Lear, if anyone is familiar with the play it calls for the actor to be completely nude, and while I wasn't actually at the play, the reports from my contemporaries was that Ian McKellen is hung like a ****ing elephant, like down to his knees.

Look, TEH FAIRYTALE showed that they're not far off.

They just need to pick up a few older guys to bridge the gap with Sydney and Hawthorn.

Get Leroy Jetta to add forward depth; Shaun McKernan to compliment Jack and Griffiths; Mitch Robinson to add a hard body to the midfield; and Harry O to add dash to the back flank/wing.

And to think, they could do all of that for probably a 4th round pick combined!
