Just another Carlton type. (Ed Curnow, Tom Bell, Vale Brock McLean, Nick Graham, Andrew Carrazzo).

Holman, Cripps, Graham and Whiley isn't exactly terrible as far as youngsters go, problem is Muke will likely outright refuse to give them a run and David Ellard will play 22 games for his 9 disposals and .4 of a goal a game.

Come on, Boekhorst hasn't even played a game yet.

I like to see Carlton fail as much as anyone, but calling someone who hasn't even played a game a spud is a bit much.
I can see all this Laverde gloating blowing up in a "pride comes before the fall" kind of way.

We should calm the **** down a bit.

Your quite right. Ill leave the grand sweeping statements to you, and just chuckle along quietly at your rants.

Good work btw, one of your better ones. 4/5.

That was one of my poorer efforts...

I did laugh the other day listening to a Blues supporter on the phone to SEN saying how much he was looking forward to the season.

Also driving home from the hospital on Friday morning I was following a shit heap rust bucket on Dandenong road with an 'I am Carlton' bumper sticker. My first thought was never a truer word stated in a bumper sticker your car typifies Carlton

If I was a Carlton supporter I would be looking forward to 2015.

At times in 2013 and 2014 there were points where there was no light at the end of the tunnel because the 20 shit trucks they've gotten rid of in the last two pre-seasons were still largely on the list.

There has been some pretty dramatic reconstructive surgery to their list. It's a good balance of improving the best 22 and helping to sure up the future. On paper they've now got three AFL standard key forwards and key backs with a few interesting combinations (Kreuzer and Casboult, for example, is a combination as ruck/KPF3 could be really bloody effective if they can overcome their respective issues).

They're not going to have much depth this year but if Cripps and Boekhurst kick on sooner rather than later they'll be a reasonable side. They're also very well coached.

Shits changing at Carlton that's for sure.

And im so freaking glad that Brock McLean was cut despite playing some good solid football in 2014.

Thank god Port somehow didn't land him.

Dane Swan's back is nearly gone.

Sydney are not the nice family club that is being portrayed.

A few Eagles from the Mainwaring era are walking a very fine line.

How bad is his back? Could pull the pin this season bad or slow decline bad

Who said they were?

That club is a manufactured shit hole. It's nothing without COLA, has no redeeming features and has done next to nothing to help grow the game in NSW.

It is the biggest leech in the competition, 'bloods' culture isn't even worth pissing on.

I think he might also be referring to quite a bit of stuff that a number of the boys get up to outside of footy..

I went to fair ends to show solid reasoning how utterly inactive and unresponsive Sydney have been in growing the game in a previous post.

They are a garbage club. Woefully underperformed in this regard when compared to clubs like Adelaide, West Coast.

Roos' perm was a redeeming feature back in the day

Was that the one about everything referring back to 'Sydney Swans' rather than 'AFL' and 'NSW'? I remember it, was an interesting read and (yet another) quality rant. :thumbsu:
