On a happier note, it looks like Malthouse might have to actually perform as a coach this year if he wants to be there beyond this year.

Deflecting his issues away with complaints about Essendon isn't what the Blues board are after.

My mate who is a Saints guy TRIED to act like he was sad for him.

Anyone else as perplexed by the addition of Jamie McMillan to north's leadership group as I am?

It'd be like us adding Travis Colyer to ours

Really should've traded him at seasons end.
Did they get offers?

Didn't GWS offer him huge coin a few years ago?

Bet Carlton and Kreuzer regret not taking the cash/trade.

Not really. Kreuzer has had a bad run but not anywhere near the same extent of Gumby.[/QU
Neale Daniher was another whose bad run with injury cut his career short.
My dad told me he was the best Daniher

He was the best Daniher... in pure talent. TD had better performances though; not purely due to a longer career but more due to the fact that TD got to perform as a mature footballer and therefore had more significant performances at his peak. It was a tragedy we never got to see ND play as a 26-30 year old established star.

Melbourne can't take a trick with high draft picks - Hogan last year and Petracca this year - I always worry when ACL's are non-contact injuries - it indicates a looseness in the knee ligament.

So you would have been worried about a majority of ACLs over the past few years as most have been just turning movement injuries.

Yes - I am worried - It indicates loose ligaments - Impact injuries are different kettle of fish - As long as the surgeon does a good repair job.

NM's Grima going in for back surgery.

I left out his first name because I'm not sure whether it's Blake or Nathan

Nathan has suffered ongoing back issues - Kangaroos may struggle in 2015 - Lots of players still in the modified group - get a spate of injuries early and they may miss the eight.
