McPharlin has retired, leaving the main post to Dawson.
Johnson is at the end of the line.
Pav has gone on one too many years.
Sandi has been their most important player for years, their other ruck options are complete rubbish.
Fyfe benefited a heap from Sandi.
Barlow has gone backwards in a big way, as has Mundy who is now out injured.
Mayne has gone from one of the best kicks in the league to close to the worst.
Lyon tried to change his game plan but just has nfi how to play an attacking style, now he's tried to wind back the clock but the players just look burnt out like the Saints did after years under manic Lyon pressure.
Their youth is very ordinary.
Their boom recruit is still in the sheds.
Ballantyne can't stay on the park.
Other reasons.

They are cooked.

And they signed up Ross for another 5 years lol.

Not all of the above is true.

Pavlich is doing fine, especially given he is (once again) their only forward option.

Their youth is fine. Not amazing, but they haven't had the draft picks to get anyone too extraordinary. Weller and Grey have done well today.

They're still trying to implement the new plan (which seems unfinished anyway), but their main problem is how to score 100 without letting the opposition score 130.

Nah they are cooked rebuild time for the Dockers.

I wasn't saying they were going to be premiers, just that it isn't entirely doom and gloom.

Besides, they would've known when signing Lyon up for five more years that a premiership was unlikely to be just around the corner.

They are 0-4 and look like losing at home against Carlton. Textbook doom and gloom.

blues on the way back from perth after a win, probably makes us more of a favourite to beat them next week... So a win for us tomorrow and next week and we wont be finishing bottom..

Blues loss coming back from Perth would be preferable.
