I mean, we've seen it from bespectacled toenail gunk previously, but this kind of commentary speaks to how these people think. For them it actually is a mega reductive primary school-level dichotomy where because party A did something wrong people should be able to do something wrong to party A and they can't complain.

I don't watch, but to be brutally honest I'm kinda fascinated to see how tonight's fc plays out.

In a week where an AFL coach outright accuses umpires of corruption the AFL's preeminent 'footy industry' reporter (and I say 'footy industry' because god forbid she actually report on a game for once) spends half an hour slagging people off for her own purposes.

Hatred of Essendon yes, but the magnitude of it was amplified by the actual hiring process that Evans and co undertook. She thought she had the inside track and she was outmaneuvered - her distaste for the Hird/Thompson regime was a weekly fixture long before The Great **** Up took place.

That being said, this stance is even more ludicrous than all the other bile we've endured in the previous years. It is so fundamentally childish, it is incredible that anyone over the age of 8 could adopt it and be po-faced in doing so.
