Absolutely garbage Selwood doesn't get two weeks for his dog act.
Conca got 2 for walking up behind someone on the boundary line and king hitting them, no way was Selwood ever going to get suspended for what he did. (not that I agree with it)

Jetta didn't get a week for staging, only got a reprimand.
Yep just looked it up. He got s reprimand for the dive but in the same match he got 1 week for striking.

If that doesn't sum up his career nothing does

Easy to dismiss this but could have big implications for Port.

Justin Crow has been significant for us so I think Kochy would be rightly peeved for losing his equivalent.

"The AFL Footy Show said an agreement between Burgess and the Gunners would mean

the 43-year-old leaving the AFL club immediately."

That was a weird situation with Burgess. When he arrived on the scene Port came from nowhere and suddenly ran teams into the ground week in week out, and Burgess was said to be the guy responsible with some fantastic new training regime. Dunno what's happened since then but Port seem to have lost that edge in a hurry. Maybe everyone else caught up or something.

If he has indeed lost his edge as you suggest, then Arsenal is the place to be.

Wenger is systematically ruining our club.

Subtle.

Can anyone post a link for tonight's Footy Classified? No Barrett, No Wilson and Bucks in this kind of mood actually made for excellent viewing, especially going head to head with Hutchy about the media's role in the game.

Respect Buckley a lot. And what he is saying about so many of the muck raking journos is spot on. How's some grub trying to get a controversial quote from Buckley while out walking around with his kid. No shame at all from some journos.

wowsers. i'm surprised that buddy got off. that must have been a hard decision. i think it was a **** up myself. i only saw the replay on my telstra afl live account. it's hard to see it because it is so very small. but i do what i can with my 4 inch screen to make it look bigger.

Posted last week Buckley is a disaster on Footy Cllassified - Too much of the show is about Collingwood.

Pls explain?

I caught some of it.... Was talking about North moving to Tassie as the only team there. (No Hawthorn)
Playing away games in Melbourne (9?)
Play most of home games in Tassie (I missed how many)
Train in Tas.
Also have a women's team in Tassie.

Yeah basically he said they should move to Tassie.

Footy Classified - 2nd last segment about Collingwood, even though they didn't play on the weekend - Then the segment on the role of the media in which Buckley and Hutchison banged heads - This is what happens when you have a current AFL coach as part of the panel -Had to chuckle when Buckley referred to his concerns about undue influence of people at the pinnacle of the media, somehow Hutchison brought Robbo into the conversation - This self centred media style continues.

There's a main board thread about it, I think it said 9 home games in Tas, 2 home and 9 away in Melbourne, then only travel 4 times outside of Vic/Tas. Don't really see the point of moving a club to Tasmania if you're going to rebrand the whole thing, change the name, colours, mascot and burn the memorabilia. Members won't follow them there, they have no benefit of existing facilities or brand awareness. The actual people that make up the club organisation won't want to move either. But I also don't see why Tasmanians would accept such a club with anything less than complete rebranding with state colours and everything. Like why would you follow some half-arsed pseudo-Melbourne team? Then there's the 'where' question. North vs. South. Based in Launceston or Hobart? Play more games in which city?

Moving to Tasmania sounds great until you actually try and figure out how it would work. There was one funny suggestion of wearing green and white in Tas and blue and white on the mainland. I'd love to see them try that! hahahaha
