Chol appeal was successful, and once again I don't understand the MRP.

Good news. Chol's 3 week ban for smashing Stewart's head into the MCG's turf has been overturned. He is now free to play in next weeks grand final years season opener.

Stewart is happy for him.

Kane Cornes and others have a point though, how can an action be simultaneously a legal tackle under the rules of the game and lead to a suspension? It's a total mess. They either have to change the rules like they did with sling tackles and give a freekick for any tackle that pins both arms when bringing a guy to ground, or they have to get the mrp out of it

Regarding Chol, I honestly think the right decision was eventually made.

Sucks for Tom Stewart but I don't that tackle is even outside the laws of the game let alone a suspension.
