Rumour North Player Isolation Breach?

Gotta love Twitter rumours but I can confidently say that this guy isn't a troll. I've been following him for a while for Supercoach related reasons and his info is always spot on.

Anyway, whether you agree with the isolation rules that are in place, this seems like a bit of a let down for his team and the entire league. The instructions are pretty simple.

Do we know if they were given the all clear to freely move around the community?

• The time of the incident (North Melbourne only found out during the day on Sunday that the Airport was a Tier 2 exposure site)
• The player (did they even travel with the side & play in Tasmania)

This is speculation. If true, then it's potentially a big issue for the AFL and the Victorian Government moving forward.

I guess in terms of punishment for not following the rules. The government has already given footy players special privileges that normal people don't have. Probably feels as though they can't be trusted IF they're breaching the rules in place.

I spoke to the guy and he says it's being investigated by the AFL. They've asked the store for CCTV footage.

They wouldn't take it that far if he was "in the clear".

It took me literally 1 minute to create this thread after seeing the tweet. Edited it a few times and fixed it up.

Chatted with him on Twitter for a very brief period a few hours ago. He didn't give away much apart from what I've said above.

This “source” only has 48 Twitter followers— you can’t expect us to believe that one of his followers saw the post and created a thread on BigFooty within 8 minutes without some sort of heads up.

Plus you’ve added details to the story that the Twitter account hasn’t provided.

If you can’t see how from that outside that looks suss then that’s on you. Plus, if I was wrong I would’ve assumed you’d just ignore my rants as that of a lunatic
