I have a feeling Clarko for sure, and hopefully the whole team, have had this game pencilled in for while, 124 pt loss to turn around, should be motivation enough.

Also just heard that Clarko is going to be on AFL360 on Monday night, would be very nice to have him lob in with a spring in his step, and a smile on his face after getting the job done today.

Our midfield better than theirs, imo, bring the pressure for 4 Q's, and lets get it done, Nth by 17 pt's

Ok lets look back to that game last season as quite obviously there’s so much room for improvement from that.

They won by 124 points. Did they dominate?
They were +21 inside 50s (66-45) but had 40 scoring shots from 66 inside 50s. That discrepancy doesn’t warrant that margin.

Since the first Carlton game this season we have thankfully considerably improved our defensive structure so we’re nowhere near as easy to score against.

Contested ball we were only -18 which again is not reflective of the margin.

Turnovers was 61-70 so again this wasn’t the issue..

Uncontested ball… we were -75 which is ridiculous. In conditions where you need make it hard as possible for a side to have easy ball.

I’d like to think we’re all over what happened last time.

And yeah it was the last game of the season but there was no pride and an embarassment for everyone involved. I don’t expect to win today but at least make it hard for them and make it a ****ing contested slog.

The other thing.. they dive, they duck especially forward. Be prepared and don’t get sucked in.

I’ll believe it when I see it, the last time I went to a game there it was 2009, the rain was that heavy at one stage you could not see across the ground, conditions were that bad they cancelled the little league match at half time, in Tasmania!! From memory I also reckon they stopped the game at one point due to the threat of lightning ️

Anyway my footy forecast is a game of four seasons, hot cold and everything in between, with North overcoming the hawks in arctic like conditions in the last to win by 8 points

Yeah every chance the Hawks run that far ahead of the contest we're playing the game in a different time zone to them.
