Re: Rucci rewrites 2005 AFL history!

I saw that too, what a bloody arse clown!!!!! The fact we have won 10 in a row has been mentioned a lot lately yet somehow he pulls a loss out... i bet that loss was in the Showdown too!!

On a sidenote, he wrote a huge article about how the Power should pick D White this week. Coincidentally, North must beat Norwood on Saturday to jump above Port Maggies and take the double chance, without White our forward line might struggle a bit.

I HATE Rucci!!!!

Rucci wouldnt be worried about the Magpies too much because his nemesis Cahill is there coaching.

Just for the record, the Surgers have a 4W 2L record over the last 6 games, 4th behind Adelaide, Sydney and St Kilda.

Woo fkg Hoo Rooch!!

I had to laugh when I read that. So, who have Port beaten in that 6 game stretch (a convenient cut-off point if ever there was one ;) )?

Richmond
Carlton
Brisbane
Fremantle

Wow, so they managed to beat 4 non-finalists teams during that 'surge', yet lost to the only two finalists they played. Look out for the surging Port Adelaide. :D

Re: The Official BF Rooch Thread

Well now that we have an official cockrooch thread, did anyone notice how after the WC game in the PC before Neil Craig came out, he was sighing heavily as if he'd just been hit in the head with a sledgehammer?

Re: The Official BF Rooch Thread

I've stayed away from the Rooch stuff because the bloke isn't worth talking about. I refuse to buy the 'tiser until that clown is off the sport's pages. I read it on the net. But Rooch's reporting in this morning's paper needs comment.
This morning's footy news looks like a paid motivational blurb for the Power. What will Rooch write about after the Kangaroos beat them by 5 or 6 goals? How stiff they were?

jack, name one journalist you have ever spoken to.

Or even better, name one journalist who has ever spoken to you.

For goodness sake, your fantasies grow by the second.
JohnK, let's get some semblance of reality here. For one, it's not exactly hard to hang around with journos. Just find a pub near Waymouth St and offer to buy a drink for the worst dressed patrons, then you go from there.

It's not like journos are wealthy, respected and revered. That all stopped when they became regurgitators of company propoganda and became driven by advertising revenue as a guiding principle.

I'm not pointing this at you, but to try and paint it as though hanging around journos would be some great achievement is stretching the credibility a tad. For mine, most journos are the equal of used car salesmen, funeral directors and politicians, just not as wealthy.

In comparing Port to the form of the top 8 over the last 6 rounds, we have the following:

1. Adelaide WON: 5 LOST: 1

Interesting how a team who has won 10 in a row now has only won 5 of their last 6?

How the hell did he f##k that one up? Seriously, it's not even a difficult statistic. The only thing I can think is that it was on purpose.

I also found it fascinating that Richard Earle (don't Port supporters say he's 'pro-Crows'? ) showed our potential 'match-ups' against St Kilda's midfield and the comments below were all about how our midfielders would struggle against St Kilda's gun midfielders.

Yet on the other side of the page, the Port-Kangaroos comparison was all about how Port would dominate the Kangaroos...

Sorry, who called this newspaper pro-Crows?

Of course the paper is pro Crows. If you don't know that, then you obviously don't know who your daddy is & can't handle the truth! ;)

Yes, it is certainly most revealing and most telling of just maybe that he doesn't know that.

Re: Fashion Advice for Rooch

Cat in the Hat...bahahahaha you bloody idiot rucci.

And this is the person with the biggest influence into what we read sport-wise in our local rag? It's all starting to make sense to me now..........

Re: Fashion Advice for Rooch

Don't like Cat in the Hat Stiffy? :D

I was thinking the exact same thing when I watched it.

P.S. If he doesn't like being hated then why write absolute utter BS all the time?

What a toss!

Re: Fashion Advice for Rooch

He is a tosser. He's been providing plenty of laughs this week with his fair coverage!

Re: Fashion Advice for Rooch

Anyone who has seen him would know Rucci wears that all the time to the footy, I think it's his standard dress.

There is something rather eccentric about Michaelangelo.

Mate its a bloody stinker.

Seriously, how the hell do you dress in all black and then put that tie on with such a contrast that your eyes start hurting.

I saw him at Norwood at the start of the year for that game against Norwood/North Adelaide combo side and his dressing sense did leave a lot to be desired.

At least he made the effort for TFS with what appeared to be a nice jacket but the tie just killed it off. Its a bloody stinker

Re: Fashion Advice for Rooch

stiffy_18, what happened to every thread about rucci being boring? This is an exception i guess....

i also fear that given the 'hatred' the advertiser has had from his biased reporting that they are trying to promote him into a figure head or face of the sport. A role he is ofcourse willing to fill. After all more controversy means more papers.

Re: Fashion Advice for Rooch

Oh my god, is it fashion week already?

Re: Fashion Advice for Rooch

I take it no-one here thinks that Rucci is a mispelt version of Gucci then.
