Stupidly didn't wake up to watch this match. Must have turned my alarm off by reflex :(

We're hitting form at the right time of the season too.

Apparantly we've put in a bid for Ribery as contingency of Ronaldo moving to Real. Big loss if that happens.
How about we just buy him anyways and have Ronaldo and Ribery in the side :thumbsu:

I think he deserves to play not just cos of this mornings game, but he was stiff last season to not even feature.
Yep, i will be getting out my Ji-Sung Park strip for the final.

Don't know who I prefer to face in the final. Barcelona have been the form team of the season and Chelsea would be wanting to revenge last season's final.

Pessimistic side wants us to play Barcelona as I prefer to lose to them than Chelsea.

Time for the fans to buy some knife proof clothes for the final.

Hopefully it's a Barca v Man U final. I don't want another repeat of last year. You guys deserve your spot but I hope Henry and Barca bend you over.

thanks for ur kind words

All i can say is i hope if the rumours r true that Adebayor leaves for Milan and VP goes into the wilderness and u r stuck with Bendnter as a starter :D

In regards to Henry, he wont play tomorrow but if we get to face Barcelona im sure we can do what we did to them last season in the knock out stages. Pretty sure Henry was the one that got bent over

While they continue to qualify for Champions League football, they'll get the replacements and quality to join them. Main sticking point is Arsene spending the money he has and the youngsters reaching their potential and players patient to stay together.

Would be great to have Ribery AND Ronaldo but with our debt, doubt we could finance that fee! Also if the rumours of expanding the stadium is true, our debt will just keep growing.

For sale: 57,000 Arsenal flags. Almost new, only waved for seven minutes...

On a more sombre note, mixed emotions for Alex Ferguson today, apparently Darren's ex-wife and kids were in a car accident last night and are seriously ill in hospital. Hope everyone pulls through.

I didn't wake up this morning to watch it either but I watched the replay at 1pm on ESPN...damn I wish I watched it live. Ronaldo, Rooney, Evra all killed it and Park done well like always...I was really impressed with Andersons game. What about that free kick from Ronaldo...what an absolute cracker.

Darren Fletcher, how did he get a red but Adebayor's disgusting hack on Carrick only merited a yellow?

I hear we can't appeal it, but if the ref thinks he ****ed up enough he can rescind it. But that's not going to happen. Poor bugger, he's half the reason we're there, he was magnificent. And dignified as well, no stupid Gazza tears.

Manchester United have lodged an appeal with Uefa to have Darren Fletcher's red card overturned on compassionate grounds.

Fletcher is set to miss the UEFA Champions League final against Barcelona after being sent-off in United's 3-1 defeat of Arsenal in Tuesday night's semi-final.

The Scotland international was dismissed in the second half for what was deemed to be a professional foul by referee Roberto Rosetti, despite clearly nicking the ball from Cesc Fabregras in his challenge.

Uefa rules state that they will not consider any appeals over red cards unless it is a case of mistaken identity, while Rosetti has yet to pass comment on his decision.

However, the club were encouraged by Uefa general secretary David Taylor's comments on Thursday as he said his organisation would perhaps be willing to look at the incident.

United have acted quickly in lodging an appeal with European football's governing body and now await Uefa's decision.

Hope he gets it overturned but not holding any hopes. If we do somehow get it rescended then for fairness, Abidal should have his overturned too.

He has more grounds for an appeal as he didn't even touch him!

Fine by me overturn both of them:thumbsu:

If it doesnt get overturned who would you rather see start in the 3rd CM spot (assuming we play like we did against Arsenal which is how i reckon we should) Giggs or Scholes. Giggs imo will be solid as usual but if Scholes plays well he can be a matchwinner on the other hand...
