But that first half... we've seen too much of that away this season, we really need to get on top of it, being unable to hold possession, massive gaps in defence, terrible marking, its too often, and they're not difficult things for a club like us.

Completely agree.

Also, we look at our best when there is license to attack but in most away games this season I think we've started with a defensive mindset (or have eventually gone into it) and thus teams have heaped a lot of pressure on us which has lead to dropped points.

Scholes had a very average return it has to be said.

Great ball for Berbatov's second, though. The finish was pure class as well.

Wayne needs to play in the Attacking Mid Posiston. Wayne does anything at attacking mid does. plus he has made berbatov good.

News today says that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has a contract clause stating that he can leave for Premier League after two years. Solskjaer himself says that he won't use this clause, unless there is an opportunity at "a PL club in the Manchester area".

Solskjaer says that it's only an assurance, in case the opportunity as managing Manchester United comes up.

– But I'm allowed to dream. I have always had great visions. My goal is to win gold with Molde. And I have a dream to manage Manchester United some time in the future. Some say I'm stupid to think like that, but for me it is quite natural. Who knows what happens in two, five or ten years?

- I could have taken a step up and been part of the team around the first team at United now. But I'm not interested in that, I want to be in charge. Should I return to United some time, it will be as boss. If things go wrong, I must take the blame. That's how I want to have it.

Don't Rate Van Der Sar that highly. a few guys to target

Team news according to SAF:

Sir Alex says he will be taking a strong squad to St Mary’s for the FA Cup fourth round tie against Southampton despite being without a handful of first team regulars.

Edwin van der Sar has been given the weekend off, while Patrice Evra (family bereavement) and Rafael (concussion) will not be travelling. Michael Carrick, who has been struggling with an ankle injury, is expected to be available providing he comes through training on Friday.

Rumour is Morrison pleaded guilty, non-custodial sentence. Has been suspended by the club but will be returning in the U19s next match.

He's a very silly boy, but I hope this is the kick up the arse he's been needing. Clearly very talented but if he's going to make it he has to work hard as well, when you're 17 you can get by spoofing but it never gets any easier.

Job done without conviction.

Harsh on Southampton who deserved something from the game.

This showed we dont have the quality in our squad to fight on the 3 fronts that are left.

Honestly would not have been disappointed if we bowed out...I want #19!
