Great OP, that Paul brick gets funnier everytime I watch it. Should probably cut to Curry and Rusty pissing themselves after the brick, but its still gravy. :D

pfft 6 points 8 assists in 21 minutes? Rose only had 11 points and 5 assists in 30 minutes. Please explain to me how's he overrated

- Terrible shooter, what other top PG's shoot as badly as Rondo? Teams purposely sag off him because they know he will throw up bricks.

- Can not take over and win games consistently by himself like the other top PG's. Can't rely on him to hit a big shot or buzzer beater.

- Assist numbers massively boosted because he's protected/surrounded by 3 future HOF's and great shooters. Because he's hesitant to shoot he passes more hence the assist numbers. His assist numbers are up this year but PPG are down. Why did you think that is? In saying that he's a good passer and it's a strength in his game but he's no Steve Nash.

- Once the 3 future HOF's retire he's going to be massively exposed. Put him on a bad/average team and he would be nothing. Rose, Williams, CP3, Westbrook, Parker, etc are all much better than him yet i constantly see him rated up there with them.

Not that he was the only player gifted All-Star off name basis only. Tim Duncan ahead of Aldridge was a joke.

My huge problem with Rondo is that he takes being a pure point guard too far, it's one thing to run the offence and set up your teammates but he needs to develop some sort of a jump shot or fix his pathetic FT shooting so that he doesn't become a liability by driving into the lane and getting to line.

I cringe and rolled my eyes when he gave up the ball to Ray Allen when there was under a second left on the clock and he had far more space to shoot than Ray.

The difference between Rondo and the likes of Paul, Williams and Rose is that they are all weapons offensively but still manage to average 8+ dimes a game.

What is this? He was leading Rose in the votes for the first ballot, then dropped behind him as the 3rd guard in the East, and was the absolutely obvious choice for the coaches once he (rightly) missed the starting lineup. Who would you have replace him? Harris? Please, sexy Devin is sexy, but doesn't hold a candle to Rondo this season.

You're right, worded it wrong a bit. He might sneak into the all-star game but he's no all-star in his own right. This just proves how weak the East is compared to the West. Guys like Parker and Nash gotta sit on the sidelines watching Rondo in the all-star game.

You could argue Felton has had a better season than Rondo. His numbers are much better. He also dominated Rondo when New York played Boston. It's close though. Rondo just doesn't have enough of an offensive game for me to call him a good or very good player. He's decent, that's it. Overrated because of his future HOF teammates making him seem better than what he is.

I mean seriously, passing up WIDE OPEN shots constantly and giving it off to his teammates, even if it means they have to jack up contested shots with no time left on the shot clock. Not a top PG until he doesn't brick all of his shots and his FT's. I don't care how inflated his assists numbers are, there's a reason for that.
