I really am enjoying watching Heat feast on the shit teams. LeWade finally seem to be liking playing together. Some of the dunks and 3s have been vicious. Its like they cruise in the first half and then come out in the 3rd quarter, dominate and then sit out most the 4th.

With all the shit storm they have been getting in the media I would think they would be really happy with owning the biggest point differential in the NBA with their 4th and 5th best players injured.

I dont believe (as I keep hearing) that they are not ready to beat the better teams yet. Boston will meet a much different team to the one they met earlier in the season.

If Haslem and Miller were fit then this team could almost be favourites for the title.

A source tells ESPN that Carmelo Anthony has notified the Denver Nuggets that he will only sign a contract extension if he is traded to the New York Knicks.

The source is privy to private discussions among Anthony, his representatives and the Nuggets front office. Anthony has apparently ruled out agreeing to the nearly $65 million extension with Denver, and apparently any other club except New York.

Anthony said after the game at Madison Square Garden on Sunday that he does not think the Nuggets will trade him to a team with which he does not wish to sign the extension.

"I don't think so. I don't think that will happen," Anthony said. He declined to elaborate.

"Everybody's yelling out the windows: 'Melo we need you in New York.' Of course that feels good when you know someone out there wants you to come and represent their team and represent their city. That's what I took from that," Anthony said.

Of signing the extension this season, Anthony said, "Whatever decision I make, that is going to be the first thing that gets done."

I hope he goes. A strong Knicks team would be good for the NBA:thumbsu:
