The problem so far for Durant is that he is taking too many 3's, and not shooting them well at all. If he can improve his 3PT% he will be back to averaging 30ppg and win the scoring title by plenty.

If 27 ppg @ 44% is average I'd hate to see what great is.

Havnt looked at the stats but he must get around 10 points per game from the charity stripe. Also he does a bit of downhill skieing. Is putting up some big numbers but only against the Clevelands of this league

Hes capable of better.

Great win for Phoenix.

Bloody oath. Fantastic effort.

This man continues to defy age. I propose a toast.

Great team win by the Pistons :thumbsu::D Wouldn't mind seeing this lineup together for a few more games, to see whether it was a fluke or if they genuinely work better without Hamilton and Stuckey. Either way, hopefully it's the catalyst for a faster-paced style, as we have the athletes and the skills to work better with an up-tempo game.

Detroit Pistons list is pretty epic. Surely they should be a main player during trade time. Bulls especially should come a knocking for one of there guards

Probably jumping the gun and getting hyped over one result, but would the Bulls at all consider a Hamilton + Stuckey for Joakim Noah + CJ Watson trade? It works according to the Real GM trade checker (Watson in there to even out the dollars), but would Chicago go for it? Probably not, as it doesn't really get them closer to a championship (in fact, probably sends them backwards in a way without Noah).

I'd even throw Jonas Jerebko in to sweeten the deal (works financially). I like his potential, and would want to keep him, but not sure how he'll recover from a long-term Achilles injury. I'd like to get rid of Jason Maxiell, but it'd blow the finances out on the deal.

Would give the Pistons a pretty talented and versatile squad, possibly capable of sneaking into the playoffs with a more up-tempo gameplan:

C - Joakim Noah
PF - Charlie Villenueva
SF - Tayshaun Prince
SG - Ben Gordon
PG - Will Bynum
-----------------------
C - Ben Wallace
PF - Greg Monroe
SF - Austin Daye
SG - Tracy McGrady
PG - CJ Watson
C - Chris Wilcox
PF - Jason Maxiell
-----------------------
PF - Jonas Jerebko
SF - Dajuan Summers
SG - Terrico White

Although the Bulls would probably need another decent seven footer (which is why they probably wouldn't trade Noah in the first place) to be anything more than a playoff also-ran:

C - Carlos Boozer
PF - Taj Gibson
SF - Luol Deng
SG - Richard Hamilton (Could start Stuckey here and use Brewer as a playmaker)
PG - Derrick Rose
-----------------------
C - Omer Asik
PF - James Johnson
SF - Kyle Korver
SG - Ronnie Brewer
PG - Rodney Stuckey
C - Kurt Thomas
PF - Brian Scalabrine
-----------------------
SG - Keith Bogans
PG - John Lucas

The Bulls could then maybe try and use Bogans + a future draft pick and/or cash considerations (everyone's favourite ;)) to prise Hasheem Thabeet from Memphis (?).

Anyone noticing Kevin Durants surprisingly average year to date. Once again his shooting is way off

Russ stealing his glory, hasnt dealt with it all that well.

Subscribbled.

its the vince carter syndrome. the people fall in love with you for your exploits on the court. then you decide shooting 3 balls is better for your image/brand. fail.

Considering the Bulls just lost to the powerhouse Clippers (on a road back-to-back no less) with Noah out, I cant see them wanting to trade him for an average combo guard and a shooter. Noah is the glue that holds that team together.

Are you taking the piss right now
That trade proposal is bordering on HOF worthy.

Bulls wouldn't even trade Noah for Carmelo.

Damon, you seem like a smart dude...but in the words of Mark Jackson: "You're better than that!"

I don't think it's bordering on HOF worthy - it's well and truly over the line!

Are you kidding me?!

Yeah, Boozer @ C was good, but my favourite part is the reluctant inclusion of Jonas Jabadabadorenko.

Can just imagine the Bulls GM on the phone to Dumars giving him an ultimatum: "IT'S JABARENKO OR IT'S NOTHING! YOU HEAR ME, JOE?"

Obviously the trade was pretty wishful thinking, to say the least, but I'm a Pistons fan, desperate for anything to get us out of the Eastern Conference cellar.

Seriously though, how does Hamilton, Stuckey and Maxiell to the Clippers for Chris Kaman and Randy Foye sound? It works financially. Would throw in a draft pick or two as well if really necessary.

Would give the Clippers the following line-up:
C - DeAndre Jordan
PF - Blake Griffin
SF - Al-Farouq Aminu
SG - Eric Gordon
PG - Rodney Stuckey
-----------------------
C - Jarron Collins
PF - Craig Smith
SF - Ryan Gomes
SG - Richard Hamilton
PG - Eric Bledsoe
PG - Baron Davis
PF - Jason Maxiell
-----------------------
PF - Brian Cook
PG - Willie Warren

If the Clippers could move Baron Davis for another Centre, that'd work out well for them going forward with a young core.

Would have liked to have an opportunity at trading for Marcin Gortat. Hopefully the Suns are open to passing him on (they're apparently fielding offers for him already), even though they're probably better served keeping him.

I'd even accept Nazr Mohammed back from Charlotte if it meant dumping Hamilton's contract (straight up trade doesn't work financially though), but I'm not even sure that Charlotte would make that trade, considering how thin they are at Centre behind Nazr (whose been playing the most efficient basketball of his career over the past two seasons).

Honestly, I wouldn't mind having Darko Milicic back instead of Stuckey (the player we selected with the pick we got from Orlando in exchange), as he'd be quite valueable in this current Pistons lineup. I wonder if the Wolves would take Hamilton for Darko (works financially)? Or Hamilton and Stuckey for Darko and Sebastian Telfair (also works financially)? Or Hamilton, Stuckey and our First and Second Round Picks for Darko and the rights to Ricky Rubio (again, works financially)? ;)

I know it seems like I'm just throwing up pie-in-the-sky trade scenarios, but I really want a Centre, and there's not many teams that can offer us that in exchange for Hamilton and/or Stuckey without us ripping them off (a la my Chicago proposal).

No-one is taking Hamilton. He's as untradeable a contract as there is right now - your only hope to move him is to swap for another massively overpaid player ala the Lewis-Arenas swap.

Think Toronto would trade him for Peja Stojakovic? I know they just got him (and would relish the cap room his expiring contract will provide as much as us), but it would give them another scoring option right now.

Straight up for Baron Davis?

Kenyon Martin's contract?

TJ Ford?

Mike Dunleavy?

Dan Gadzuric?

Troy Murphy?

Samuel Dalembert?

I'm desperately clutching at straws here :p
