Bingo - great get.

Actually the movie was released here as The Mean Machine as it is based on American football and the name The Longest Yard was too gridiron focussed. The movie was shown over dinner by my father and I in the Social Club, I think on the Thursday night after training with Barassi and the team present.

It was one of those typical Yankee overcoming the odds type of movies where a team of prisoners take on the guards.
