I like these changes... however why would they bother promoting Campbell if he won't get a game?

Extended bench is from Morton, McKenzie, Petterd, Blease, Gawn, McDonald, Nicholson, Blease.

I'm gunning for Blease to get another crack.

So does that mean we have 3 ruckman in this week??? If Jamar comes in, I'd probably expect Gawn to get relegated. Unless they have Martin at Full Forward for most of the game? West Coast have some solid tall timber down forward, so potentially Martin as a backman on West Coast's resting ruckman?

I hope Blease gets a (full)game, and I'm glad Jurrah didn't get rushed back. We need him to learn how to chase in the VFL before promoting him again. Bring in Nicholson and use him as the sub.

Not expecting a win, but with finals still a remote possibility, I'm hoping the boys put up a good performance and make West Coast earn the win...

Because Biff's preview allows for a little banter whereas this thread if for serious discussion of the pending game.

We usually come out firing and get a reasonable lead by 1/2 time then drop off in the 3rd quarter,luckily we finish strongly in the 4th though.

Morton was fairly incredible in the VFL on Saturday, had to be rewarded for that. Could be the confidence boost he needed.

Just better hope he plays in the middle!

If McDonald doesn't get a game v Richmond, GC and/or Port though, that will be criminal.

I reackon our 3rd qtrs would be ranked 17th in the league. We have developed a terrible habit of falling asleep after half-time, only to pick it back up again in the 4th.

I really hope they've included Morton with the intention of doing more than just lifting the average height of the defence. Really thought McDonald was a chance.
