Port havn't really had to rebuild. Their key players are still the Burgoynes and Cornes brother as well as players like Lade. Any of our young kids would look good playing along side these players.

Have a look at the players older than 21 that Richmond has to work with. They are by a long way the worst in the competition. The only short term solution would be to trade high draft picks to fix it, but that is clearly not the answer. We have been rebuilding for 2.5 years, not 25, we have been shit for 25 though and everyone will just have to be patient.

Could you imagine if it was 3. He would be forced to play the veterans in the hope of pinching a cheap game or two, forced to trade early picks for quick turnarounds, whilst we the club would be out their prostituting itself for Sheedy, Pagan or whoever.

In 2008 it would new coach, new assistants, new direction, new game plan to learn and the vicious cycles goes around one more time.

i agree. scrap the coaching admin. analyze every single coach, including the senior-TW. Analyze them in a coaching position, from every scenario (anything from drawn at 3-quarter time to 10 goals down at halftime) scrap any coach who doesnt live up to expectations. Bring in more experienced coaches, mentor the younger ones with coaches or formers who know what they're talking about i.e. Barassi, Maybe Hafey is he's still around etc. and there you have it. Thats my idea.

Lets get Terry out. We aren't winning enough games, we arent rebuilding fast enough. The younger players arent catching on. We are officially the worst starting Richmond side ever. We have made the finals twice in 25 years. We have no depth, no quality talls, no speed.

We need some sort of replacement. Theres Sheedy, Voss maybe Pagan who we can pick up at the end of the year. However, another person who bleeds yellow and black, knows plenty about the club and recruitment could be our savior. We now think in terms of Chris Bond and Matthew Knights. No. We need someone sharper who than those two who have shared our pain. Our pain that kills us every single week of the AFL season for so years.

Next year Richmond turns 100 I believe. We need someone revolutionary. Someone from our. our.. our...... forums.

Port have not rebuilt, they have added to the core premership group. What they have added to that group is classy

The Burgoynes,Cornes,Lade,Wakelin,Wilson ect.. were already there

They have added Salopek,Pearce,White,Surjan,Chaplin,Pettigrew just to name a few.

They have an excellent coach, and have recruited very cleverly

How can they even be compared to us. We have never had a core senior group good enough for us to be a threat. That is the biggest reason we cant rebuild overnight

How many time have we started rebuilding and then the ferals come out and get another coach sacked??

Its about time this bloody club and its supporters had some patience with one coach who is playing kids for the future.

Otherwise we'll get a new coach who is under pressure to have results and recruit more of the mature aged players, come mid-table again and be down the bottom again in 4 years. Its a constant cycle.
