I wasn’t aware the ‘Carlton Crew’ invited loud mouthed cockslaps into their environs. I think your mate Ricky Nixon could do with some of the life coaching skills you tried out on Baulch.
I’ve made this reference before mate. Anyone familiar with underbelly season 1 will remember “mad rich” Mladenich. Biglaz has gotta be in the bloodline.

Some young ones couldn’t handle the straight shooting, he’s a complete no nonsense guy. Anyone questioning his coaching credentials have absolutely no idea what they’re talking about, he’s the best coach the league has ever had. I’ve told this story before, he dragged a bloke one Saturday for not following his orders, “ told the kid he’d never play senior football under his watch again“ and was true to his word. Blokes like Crezza are a dying breed, the game needs more of them. Intelligent and ruthless but fair, he’ll look you dead in the eye and tell you how it is. He’s the reason Raiders still exist, and he breathed life back in to Wangaratta’s blue collar club. “He was passionate about developing young players“. and helping them get their shot at the big time, and backed his men to the hilt. The only bad words I’ve ever heard murmured are from disgruntled would be footballers.
This seemed odd “ “

Did pretty well last year playing second and third fiddle to Reid and Moore.
If Reid doesn’t play much in 2024 I’d say he’s crucial to the Pies

if i was in a position at Corowa I’d be ringing the fringe guys at both wang and rovers . and Albury . maybe thurgoona got in there . the holland dean boys for a start . the wang magooes ruck . can jump . the ff . good hands . tua . rovers . ?

I hear Yarra are having a crack at the Wang number two ruckman..

And yes Newton when the body is right is still capable of ripping games apart.

Going off the last few seasons, hes only ever on the park for the first half, and that only coincides if your (new found love) mob are 10 goals up at half time.. flipside, 3
Goals down at quarter time and hes got an injury. And i havent seen him have said injury against a bottom 3 side.

Still playing off his credentials as an ex AFL player. Mind you i do think he would tear the o&k apart

You’ve got Marklew, who’s in the form of his life, averaging 3.12 goals a game as the only forward for Rovers. Versus, Newton, who’s apparently finished and holding on for dear life on 3.09 goals a game.
Imagine he ever got through a full game!

Pecker bagged ten against lowly opposition which is a nice boost for the average, anyone who studied the Albury vs Wang game at Biralee Park in that that last final would’ve seen Newton is a spent force. He was beaten one out on every occasion and barely chased. They can’t rely on him anymore, you’d rather a lively forward pocket sniffing under Moore’s feet than him lurking. Baiter is also done. Marklew is in his prime, would’ve been close to first in the comp for goal assists, has a high pressure defensive side to his game, ridiculous to cherry pick stats to suit your bias Peta.

And two weeks before that prelim he kicked 5 against Albury in a best on ground performance. Wang didn’t lose that prelim because of Newton.

Take note of Albury, they don’t gift their ageing stars games, no matter who you are. In the end they had to tell Fowler he wasn’t good enough. I’ve had to do the same thing, sit a bloke down in the dimmed rooms after hours and tell him he’s done, dumbbells flying across the room, tears flowing, this caper is not for the faint hearted. Stevie-J has been there, got the tap on the shoulder at Geelong, Chris Scott wouldn’t look him in the eye, Stevie threw the toys from the cot and Scott had to later go to his house to console him.

Milawa are tip toeing around the place so I’m lead to believe.

Big juice goes around again, I'd think, get him ready for finals, with no reid, they need two bigs up fwd to win, otherwise it's too predictable going to Moore. Same problem will happen at yarra, they'll be to williams centric come finals.

I'd love to know who you told Geoff, when there time was up, karlos? Robbie walks?

I genuinely can’t believe that anybody would have something against you Laz, your way with words is something to behold!
