Predictions for the year. To echo the views of others on here, Rovers will enter April with the shortest odds, this puts a bounty on our heads, we’ll embrace that and do what needs to be done. Ellis Yolemen pips Muzza for the Morris. Myrtleford can build momentum moving forward with 5-6 wins. Let’s get it.

Matt Kelly is spent, I say this with respect as he’s been wonderful. Reid, Newton and Kelly can’t be relied upon, Van Berlo leaves a gaping hole. I’ll be very surprised if they play off.

Please… From day one it wasnt ideal. Ill go on the record with that. Honestly im not happy with the treatment any of the melbournians receive. If fairs fair and wendy wants to supply breaky, do it for the whole senior side not just a select few. And when that is broadcast on a global platform it will always rattle a few cages.

Preferential treatment to a select few will always upset a majority. Be it player or supporter.

We are about to lose a quality 100 gamer because he isnt happy with the direction the club is going.

IM NOT NAMING NAMES, IF IT HAPPENS IT HAPPENS, this is no secret, but it will be unfortunate, hopefully wiser heads will prevail.

To a select couple, i have always pushed that Tom Boyd was always a better fit as coach. Local, not authoritian and can resonate. Doesnt demand respect but gets it by the style of game he plays.

And secondly, i cannot fault your supposed undying love for my great club but goodness me you have made us look like a mockery. You speak of virus, perhaps delete your account and do the club a favour because your comments here certainly are not doing us any. I, myself have had the occasional chuckle but within this fraternity you are tarnishing a wonderful club with a very rich and proud history with your outrageous comments.

Cmon it's big footy, Geoff's hardly writing for the financial review or times magazine here. I'd highly doubt anyone at rovers is worried about what Geoff types, he's penned letters to the league or he's stares to strangers at the footy. When you instil this mindset you’ll find good things start to happen. On another note, I’m going to start a thread for O&M footy tipping for those who are interested, dinner and drinks on me for the winner. Must be in by Friday night. I’ll keep the tally each week. Should be exciting as there will be some upsets that seperate the pack.

Can’t knock Rovers ability to recruit players, but on the flip side a high number who are talked up as very good players don’t stay long to ensure the club gets the benefit of sliding points value.

Points pressure. Monkey see, monkey do. Under the former coach, who got them as only as far as prelim final, had sides that were on points limit or one or two under. Current coach going down same path. Be interesting what O’Brien will be. Thinking min 6. Plus others. McDonnagh from Mansfield worth a premium you’d imagine. Prime Train has to be casualty of this latest influx. All the ex Corowa kids still got to be multiple points. If they’re not they should be given CR is back. Fascinating to see it all unfold.
