Wangaratta are one dimensional, can’t handle the physical stuff. I’ve heard Moore was loose for half the afternoon, should’ve been wearing him like a latex, we won’t give him a yard. Let me tell you now we won’t be looking over our shoulders, Sunday the 23rd, X marks the spot on the calendar.

Half a foot in front of your opponent, arm across chest, stay like this for the entire match. Flabbergasting at how slow some coaches are to adjust. Keep things simple and you have less room for error, the games evolved but the basic principles will still remain.

Some intriguing contests this week, predictions. NA to stumble across the line against the Dogs, Lavington to discard of Corowa by 10 kicks. Albury get the four points against a spirited Myrtleford. Raiders to push Wangaratta to the brink and cause boil over of the decade. Rovers v Yarrawonga, let’s just say Stephens smirk will be nowhere to be found come 4 o’clock, bring your mittens, the cold seasons about to get a whole lot colder.

Contests happen on the ground , these are games or matches

Sounds like it could be a Stevie j Geoff stoush come 5 o'clock. I can imagine Geoff using the croc Dundee line that's not a knife Stevie
Rovers are the hungriest side in the competition, they’ll be very hard to beat. On another note, word is Albury are going the whole hog in their pursuit for Cam, they want him right now, that’ll make it a three horse race. Wangaratta don’t have the cattle to seriously contend, and at this point, it’s a pipe dream for Wodonga and NA, not quite there yet.

Even if it does happen (I’d be amazed), I’m not sure where Albury would fit him in anyway, as they’re at the max with points as it is.
And he would carry 6.

I hope they get Cam. Just put more pressure on them in the years to come,
They need to start looking after their fringe players better. A lot have turned out to be bloody good footballers elsewhere after they have been screwed around

Heath Shaw retired in 2020

Would I be wrong in saying that getting an ex afl player who’s been retired for 3/4 years to come and play a one off in the ovens and Murray isn’t the most logical approach? If the Roos were to get him in 2021 fresh out of the system you’d get a much better product. IMO the one off games
Are much better suited to the lower leagues where the player is able to do as they please really compared to the ovens and Murray where they will really struggle to impact the game and could be made to look really bad if they’ve not been playing regular footy and looking after themselves

Daniel Rich / Trent Cotchin would’ve been more logical

Played the last 2 Weekends hasn’t he?
Wasn’t it rumoured he was Coaching this year?
Maybe it’s being used as a come and see day

Pretty sure he has been playing since he left afl? Playing in the edfl and coachin?
He was supposed to play a one off game and do a sportsman’s night for benalla saints last year but his then current club wouldn’t clear him as he would return for the remainder of season carrying more points. Think he did the running instead plus the sportsman’s night

He was playing in the same comp as Rovers recruits Cattapan and Allison.
