It’s embarrassing how much attention he got for a player with limited abilityHe was a headline. I saw him 4 or 5 times during the year and he’s an elite runner without being quick or nimble. At this level he’s too slow to move the ball on and no idea what to do with it when he gets it. He attracted the kids that’s for sure.

Whiley gone to WA
Baulch was a virus, nothing but a distraction, Corowa is about the only club he’d genuinely be in their top 21. Tom, I had numerous attempts to give you match day advice on where to run and the poor timing of your leads, you completely disregarded and disrespected me each time. Ben has gotten off the hook lightly too, a lot of the young ones were shattered losing the final game of the year, got jumped early, coach unprepared, if you can’t get silverware with a list like that coaching may not be for you. On another note, Magpies are playing with fire, you delinquents think the rest of us believe you’re paying under the cap? I’ve got some paper to ink.

Just on Creswell, is he that good of a coach or does he just use Cash to lure players then get someone to take over the head job then wipe his hands.. meanwhile money dries up?
Credit to him for leading raiders and rovers back to finals but is it really success if it’s not sustained?
Yeah it’s a pretty common assessment from blokes who played under him that he’s ‘ the best coach I’ve ever had’He’s very good coach.

Some young ones couldn’t handle the straight shooting, he’s a complete no nonsense guy. Anyone questioning his coaching credentials have absolutely no idea what they’re talking about, he’s the best coach the league has ever had. I’ve told this story before, he dragged a bloke one Saturday for not following his orders, told the kid he’d never play senior football under his watch again, and was true to his word. Blokes like Crezza are a dying breed, the game needs more of them. Intelligent and ruthless but fair, he’ll look you dead in the eye and tell you how it is. He’s the reason Raiders still exist, and he breathed life back in to Wangaratta’s blue collar club. He was passionate about developing young players and helping them get their shot at the big time, and backed his men to the hilt. The only bad words I’ve ever heard murmured are from disgruntled would be footballers.Yeah it’s a pretty common assessment from blokes who played under him that he’s ‘ the best coach I’ve ever had’
Also quite common to hear that he’s not the greatest bloke going around!
Whiley and conway are big outs, yarra need a big bodied fwd, they would have lost the grand final if conway didn't play.
If I had to sum Darryn up in three words I’d say, Natural born leader. His hands are like baseball mits, the handshake is as firm as I’ve felt, and I’ve spent time with the now infamous Cartlon crew. I’d love to see him back at the top level, wether that’s coaching or recruiting/list management. He has a great eye for talent, he knew Filo was something else at first glance.

I wasn’t aware the ‘Carlton Crew’ invited loud mouthed cockslaps into their environs. I think your mate Ricky Nixon could do with some of the life coaching skills you tried out on Baulch. If I had to sum Darryn up in three words I’d say, Natural born leader.
