Nice of them to give us 20 seconds in a one hour show:

Mike Sheehan to Steve Johnson: So, how much had you seen of number 48 Steve?
Steve: Duh, not much Mike, but they've got a few good young players.

I mean, shit, we've been crap and it's mainly an East Coast audience, but FFS there were only 3 games on the weekend...is it too much to ask that the 'premier' footy show actually give us some air time? Anything at all?

That's why respectable losses count for nothing, if we had of won we would have got a lot more exposure.

not quite right

Johnson said he'd watched a few videos of Freo/ Broughton, and complemented him. Same Grover - said nothing in report.

I love Freo- dont get me wrong, but what do they have to talk about Freo for? We are clearly on the up, but had an honourable los. We've had so many of them it's hardly newsworthy

Jesus christ there were 3 games on the weekend...3...

How about having some comment on them in a one hour show?

when ever they do comment on us its normally based on second hand information and things heard on the grapevine. prefer they just keep quiet.

On The Couch sounds like another reason not to get Foxtel.

Having watched it tonight for the first time, I have to agree.

Dunstall, who was apparently filling in for Hird, was cod ordinary. Healy pitched him a few softballs about his own team's performances which he batted away without ant real insight

Steve Johnson then came on and reminded us all why footballers rarely win Nobel Prizes. Quoted heavily from the "One Week at a Time" songbook in a soporific monotone, then squirmed a bit when asked about his opinion on staging for free kicks (which was the high point of the evening).

Nothing about how well our youngsters stuck it to Geelong, but given that Sheehan and Dunstall obviously know nothing about us, it wasn't surprising.

Absolutely the best part of a carp show - and probe, Diver boy Tossbag Johnson didn't just squirm, he minced about on the couch like he was being checked for colon polyps with ... um.... well... a probe!!:D

Yeah, I watched both One Week At A Time and On The Couch, 2 hours of programing dedicated to 3 games of football.

5 teams were spoken about at length.

We were mentioned twice directly, Foster trying to sell that dummy (3 seconds) and that ****ing dumbshit Johnson mumble about Broughton.

Unbelievable, how stupid are they producers? Abandoning a potential 50 thousand viewers.

The great unwashed here bitch and moan when we are mentioned, and the great unwashed here bitch and moan when we aren't mentioned.

So you know...

But we are mentioned in the lowest points and ignored when things look a little brighter. That's the pattern. We only moan at goose comments, who would moan at valid statements?

They creamed themselves each week in the second half of 06.

Tell me what is the difference. Go on.

I watch the show every week and have always thought they give Freo quite a bit of coverage, actually more than plenty of other sides, because Gerard Healy loves us and Mike Sheehan loves to bag us. And Hird is happy to stick up for Harvey.

They have talked at length about Harvey, about Pavlich's role, about the young guys, about our poor start to the year, about our good patch, etc, etc. What more do you want?

Last night they covered the split round merits, the rushed behind merits (using Foster as an example), problems in Sydney, problems with Melbourne, the North coaching job, interviewed SJ (which included a fair few references to us, albeit from a ******) and Crocker. They have no reason to crap on about us every week.

Sounds like the half year montage wrap up on Saturday nights coverage, apparently there are only 5 teams in the comp. A quick flash of Pav revving the boys up in the huddle was our alotted time.
Its OK though we have the Western Front! I can't believe there has been 200 episodes of that garbage, at least put some effort into it you wa**ers! They could do WAFL reviews, AFL squad players reviews and progress, but instead we get two nonces with a $30 budget telling everyone to make a W with their fingers.

It's a bit like games being played on Public Holidays in Melbourne, great the rest of the country is working you sad sacks, do they play a game on Foundation Day in Perth, hell no because everyone in Victoria is at work. The Victorian centric administration and coverage is really starting to become painful.:thumbsd:

this is a bunch of crap...we get the last 2 minutes if we're lucky every week
