Is this bloke the full two bob?? St Kilda biased to the max on Saturday and now ranting about how disgraceful the goal umpire blue is. C grade media personality!

Re: Steven Quarterbrain

For once I agree with Walls. Of course you can see the ball deviate from the camera angle. However from the umpire's view, perpendicular to the flight of the ball, it would have been very difficult to see (since the ball's spin appeared unaffected) and impossible to hear.

One Week At A Time - Grand Final Highlights Clip

Did anyone else see and manage to record the highlights package they just showed on 'One Week At A Time' on ONE HD?

It was a slow-mo package of many of the key moments from the Grand Final set to 'Coldplay - Fix You' ... hopefully it'll appear on Youtube at some stage, but if anyone out there has a recorder to make that happen and can post the link here, that'd be awesome. It's shown about 40-45mins in, and there is a replay of the show at 1am Tuesday & 5:30am Tuesday also.

Re: Steven Quarterbrain

Hell SJ, don't say that to loud. Robert Walls is the biggest **** in football how the hell they can call his comments "special' is beyond me.

Really liked the footage of Ling walking around the empty field by himself looking like he didn't know whether to scream or cry.

Re: Steven Quarterbrain

So um why was channel 10s best commentator (Huddo) not covering the game anyway? I know he did SEN but surely he would be the preferred option of ten and they would get preference

Darcy, Walls, Quarterbrain you couldn't get a bigger trio of geelong hating flogs. Thank christ the premiership dvd comes with multi commentaries.

It's already on YouTube. Been there since it was on ONE HD on Saturday night.

Re: Steven Quarterbrain

Listened to the SEN call replay at 3am or whatever it was, Huddo was fantastic.

Agree with that. States the bleeding obvious better than anyone else in the game.

media personality of the year at that.

he wont even dare criticise those flogs on channel 9 either.

**** I missed it. Hopefully it's replayed tonight.

the guide says 1am, if recording, give a leeway of 10-15mins either side.

and the montage could have done without "w***erplay".

Pretty sure it's been posted elsewhere, can't remember who posted it though. I saw it on Twitter via eliiiiza. :thumbsu:

Re: Steven Quarterbrain

Whoever the mod is that merged these three topics together, you need to get a clue! The different topics are not related at all, and the two about 'One Week at a Time' have the potential to be missed from their purpose by moving them in, so please seperate the ones from talking about the commentary from the Grand Final, away from the highlights package on 'One Week at a Time' !!

Re: Steven Quarterbrain

For those that didn't see it, ch10's One Week at a Time showed vision of Cameron Ling some time after the game by himself in the centre of the ground in his suit, soaking up the aftermath of victory, gazing at the empty MCG stands and seemingly (?) shedding a tear of the enormity of it all.

Was wonderful stuff.

I think they have a rotational thing going on at Ch 10, that's why Huddo wasn't calling it. Darcy was okay - I don't think he hates Geelong. Tim Lane and Walls aren't really fond of us. I was surprised to see him name Geelong as the hero of the year (GODDAMN RIGHT!) after all the stuff we cop from him. It's okay though. We have the 2009 cup and they all just wish they supported us instead. :D

Re: Steven Quarterbrain

Walls was great on TV.
He was very respectfull of the Geelong side, the administation, sponsors and supporters.
He said that they were a great club and side.
All class on this program
