We have alot of players that can play back so I put together a few possible formations:

1.
FB: Voss Penny Baker
CB: Dal Santo Maguire Jones

2.
FB: Voss Penny Jones
CB: Gram Maguire Fiora

3.
FB: Voss S.Fisher Jones
CB: Dal Santo Maguire Gram

neither..... this is the best one
L. Fisher, Penny, Hudghton
Jones, Maguire, Voss

None of the 3 formations originally posted are the way to go, I think.

Hudgeton Penny Voss
Gram/L. Fisher Maguire Jones

That would be my bet, depending on if Gram takes Blacks spot on the wing or is included in the backline. Both would suit his pace and kicking style.
The rest of the spots are givens, and I have an incling Aussie may rotate with Hamill this year, but thats just my thoughts.

Expand on that please?

To reduce the wear and tear on Hammers battered body, and to make the best use of his skills, a stint as a rebounding defender, the role Jones has taken on in recent times, is certainly a possibility.
Remember Aussie took on this role mainly due to the midfield becoming too taxing on his more mature frame. Rotations are all the rage now anyway, and there are few other Saints who have so far been able to perform Aussies role as well as he does. Hamill may be just the ticket.
Like Aussie, Aaron is barrel-chested and tungsten tough with a low centre of gravity, but able to run very well in short bursts and kick a mile.

It will work, trust me.

Iwould say fiora and Dal are more likely

i think fiora, if he puts on more muscle.... but i love dal on the wing. as soon as you see the ball being kicked to him, and he runs to 60 and then hits gehrig, hamill, kosi, or roo on the chest.... thats what you come to see footy for!! ;) Dal on the wing, with fiora to put on muscle and go to the back flank, with hamill rotating off the bench.... it is the only way he will be able to saty fit for the whole season i believe! :
)

Yeah I like dal on a wing too:
I would like to see a centre line like:

C: Dal Santo Hayes Goddard

Its hard to say, because baker will probbaly be named on the wing, but someone else will probaly be playing there.
