Agree with that and more game time for Nash also in the back half. Surely Neagle will get a run back there also at some stage...he's a big lump of a lad.
now that would be good, im really looking foward to seeing neagle and hocking + all of this years draftees in action, will be a great thing to watch.

Can someone clear up for me, as we're using our pick on Michael tomorrow, we can still re-rookie Jolley, correct?

Reason I ask is I geuinely think theres a spot for him while we're deciphering our best combinations. At the very least, he'll keep the young guys (that are getting opportunities) honest in their endeavour to retain their spot.

Michael will be drafted in the PSD. We only have one pick in the PSD, he will fill the last spot on our list.

We have three picks in the subsequent rookie draft. Because we only have one external veteran (Hird), we can have five players on the rookie list (combination of a max of six, max of two external vets).

One of those three picks in the rookie draft will be Rama, no-one else can draft him, but because he is going to be on the mature age rookie list, we have to actually go through the process of drafting him. That gives us two live picks in the rookie draft.

The mature aged rookie list, of which each club can only have one, takes the spot of a normal rookie. So where we are allowed to have five rookies, Hocking and McKinnon fill two spots, Rama on the mature list, fills a third. Leaves us with two.

To answer your question, yes we can re-rookie Jolley. But we have to actually draft him with one of our two live picks. Any other club can also rookie him.

Thank you. Here's hoping then...

I like Richmonds idea where those that perform the best in pre season training get a spot in the starting team for the NAB cup. This will not only give those who deserve a spot to get a go, but it will also increase the intensity of training. My only concern is that the increased intensity may cause some injuries, but I'm sure the coaching and training staff will be able to oversee that no one pushes them self too hard.
