Brad Dicks' Season Over.

Brad Dick's 2010 season is over, after the club made the decision to send him in for surgery on his shoulder.

Young Magpie Brad Dick will miss the remainder of the 2010 season after the club elected to have the 22-year-old undergo a full shoulder reconstruction next Tuesday afternoon.

Dick injured his left shoulder in the win over Sydney in round 13, the same shoulder which he had keyhole surgery on in December of last year.

Dang, it's been a horror season for Dick. A real shame, cause you can tell he just loves playing. He'll rip it up in 2011 for sure though.

Good news that he's going for the full reco' this time, it obviously wasn't enough just going in with keyhole surgery. All the best to the little Dick for 2011.

Bad news, being so lightly build is an issue for Dicky.

The article on the website says he will resume training in December.

Interesting to note he only had keyhole surgery last time, meaning this his first real "reco".

In time I hope to put a full season together next year and play in our second GF win in a row.

He will be sadly missed this season but its not the end of the world with the depth we have

His durability is a concern. If he can add some weight while still maintaining his pace it could help. Though adding weight to his skinny frame will take some time.

Dick is another reason why adding another forward next season needs to be very high on our list.

He has played one full game this year and was one of our best players.
