Is this an isolated incident or is all of BigFooty on notice with this?

Adelaide supporters have copped a truckload from people on the AFL board alone for a long time.

To be fair the one or two that constantly did it don't seem to be around any more.

This is off-topic from jack, but the whole 'oh the ones who throw lines and constantly get bites are entertaining' thing is stupid when you consider that the ones that get turned off are more often than not casual browsers/posters who see 'baiting' as internet nerd stuff and ultimately stop coming to the site.

FWIW some people took him too seriously but these posters with their multiple multiple alias' have real problems methinks.

Who exactly do you think I am ? I had never even heard of the BF Boards until late last year, so this multiple user stuff really intrigues me.

I get the sense that there's some history here I'm not aware of, but now you're just jumping at shadows.

Perhaps what we all need is for the season to begin so we can talk football.

Groves . . . this is coming from one of the MOST RESPECTED members of our Board. I feel that you have made an error of judgement on this decision.

I enjoyed OBJ's posts as they provided excellent entertainment. The Boards on BF IMO are becoming stagnant.

It is a real pity that I won't be able to enjoy his baiting.

As I have said in the previous locked thread - one of the best fishers I have ever met on this site.

It's all about the stirring and good fun.

Seriously though, some people have whats called a dynamic IP address, it changes. This means that its pratically impossible to ban them permanently as the IP you've banned will no longer be in use.

Jack is like a really bad Christmas gift; he keeps on turning up just as you have thought you have gotten rid of it.

Jack was simply an antagonist who liked to bait the Power; not sure if that is a good enough reason to put him on global ignore but he certainly did have his moments.

He was simply a destructive influence on these boards and I will admit it I didn’t like OBJ or his attitude. Outback Jack was simply a sniper whose main motivation wasn’t about talking about the Adelaide Crows or the way the team played, weather it was good or bad but more prone to talking about how bad everyone else was.

Actually I was talking about Port Power supporters who would rather spend time on our boards than their own boring one.

I had a couple of months of fun jousting with Jack last year but it got tedious. He was funny at times but was too much of a one trick pony.
