What an absolute disgrace that an 18 year old kid is the best player on the list. Great little player is Palmer. Would be a worthy winner of the rising star but will fight it out with Rioli. Rioli is doing it whilst surrounded by great players. Palmer is doing it whilst surrounded by donkeys. Give it to Palmer out of pity!!!!

I know Tiger fans are saying Cotchin didn't have a Pre-Season but i was told he was put on the LTI and was doing his "Pre-Season" during the NAB cup and the early parts of the H&A season??

Melbourne did the same thing with Jack Grimes.

Pretty hard to get excited about comparing players from one of the 2008 Freagle basket cases and the 2007 spooners. Feel sorry for both players. They'll need to somehow maintain their own standards, as their teams unravel. Both have the capability to do this.

Because I have only seen 1 game from Cotchin, you cannot go past Palmer, he looks to be a future star. Palmer is almost carrying the Freo midfield already and doing a great job.
