He could be. I'm not sure if I said this on this thread or another but I wouldn't mind making him our midfield/stoppage coach under Clarko because our scoring from stoppages was really good under him, even with our terrible forward set up.

I love Patch's speech, it was honest, vulnerable and passionate. I feel he has a really important role moving forward as a link/connector between the players and Clarko and the rest of the coaches. We've seen what McCrae, Longmuir and to a lesser extent Sam Mitchell have achieved in a short timeframe and having someone who can relate to the younger player is going to be critical.

**** this kid. The nerve of him whilst our best ruck sucked it up and played down forward at the start of the year for the (in theory) betterment of the team long term - and he had the nerve to mouth off at Goldy. I'm amazed he didn't get cleaned up at training the more I hear.

I really hope we keep him.

Huge fan both on and off the field.

However if he wants to obtain more coaching experience at a different club to build on his resume, I wouldn't begrudge that at all, I'd support it.

What are the odds of wonderboy learning from it? Probably pretty low if someone is offering him six years at over three quarters of a million bucks.
