that's our starting centre line in a few years, love how we're building up our new midfield . when the likes of Mundy ,D Pearce and Barlow retire Weller, Blakely and Langdon will step in.

Not travelling very good , Claremont 6.2 to Peel 1.2 after 23 minutes. Peel who are very poor in the reserves and colts have beaten Claremont in both games. In the colts Claremont sit second with 7 wins whilst Peel are near the bottom with 1 win , Peel have thrashed Claremont by 82 points ?? strange result considering

Weller was the pick of the dockers in the first qtr IMO. Very good in traffic playing on a HBF opposed to Richardson. Peel have too many average or out of form talls in the back line and a forward line lacking structure and talent.

Peel look lethargic, in fact the Freo players look lethargic, the peel guys have been amongst the better players. Hughes has been busy but many of his disposals have lacked polish. Langdon and Weller have been quite good but beyond that the Freo players have been poor.

Agree. Not much to get excited about here except for Weller and Langdon. Hughes has got a bit of it but his disposal is going to hold him back. Might be time to give Brady a go in the midfield or forward line as our midfield run is poor. At least we know he will work his guts out. Deboer has been disappointing for such an experienced player. Gu performs at this level. He looks a class above, because he is.

I think of the dockers players, Langdon and Weller have been standouts in the first half, I just love their speed and competitive spirit. Hughes has had a lot of the ball and was good early, but let himself down a few times with poor disposal.

I agree, Peel has looked slow and perhaps the balance isn't quite there in terms of talks and smalls. But take nothing away from Claremont though, their pressure has been really good and if they hadn't missed a few easy shots, Peel would be in a lot more trouble. Hopefully Peel can show a bit more in the second half.

We won't have to delist many, taking account of Sylvia, Crowley, Mora:cry: and probably Luke. But Duffy might be first in line.
Yeah. not a very deep draft so that may save him. Depends on whether we want to upgrade a rookie. Based on today, doesn't seem likely. If we get a free agent that may change things as well.
