Perspective...

This week my partner's brother took his life.

Sometimes life throws up those curve balls that put into perspective how unimportant so many things we worry about on a day to day basis really are, when what really matters is the love and friendship of those close to you.

Wow, really sorry for your loss BS, its a terrible loss when something like this happens.
Wont say I know exactly what your going through, but ive had a few friends and even my mother attempt suicide, and even that hit me hard enough so I cant imagine how hard it is at the moment on you and your partner.

i can only imagine how hard this has been, and is now, for you and your partner.

someone i knew from an old job ended their life last year. so shocking and gutting to learn of the news. it just doesn't seem to make any sense at all. it's just so sad.

what really matters is the love and friendship of those close to you.

Hey BS, sorry for your loss. It can be really tough, one of my close footy team mates unfortunately had some troubles also, so can empathise with you.

The biggest thing our crew tried to take out of it was that you should never be too embaressed/stubborn/proud to ask your mates for an ear or shoulder.

It's a shame that in today's society and especially with Aussie blokes it takes something of this magnitude for us to let the ones we care about know.
