We live in a country where voting is compulsory for everyone over 18 and had a general election just over a week ago. The result was
clear cut. After 9 years of Coalition government.

Duttons "forgotten people" are Hillary Clintons "deplorables".

Capturing bogan Australia is the Liberal Party's only path to government just as capturing the deplorables was Trumps only path to victory. They cannot even bring themselves to care about the inner cities. It is a massively flawed strategy - but when the suburban bogans are running the joint - and Dutton, Taylor, Tudge, Sukkar, etc. are all suburban bogans - I guess it is inevitable that they reinvent the party in their own image.

Morrison has ruined the Liberal Party. He spent all of what was left of Howards good will.

Inner city Melbourne and Inner city Sydney are never going to take Dutton and Co. seriously. And they don't care for their culture war politics one bit.

They are also comprised of members of the Stolen Generations and are among the most poorly treated people in our modern history.
