every time i see spud, the more i hope he is the leader at the next election. the words ‘wipe out’ have a lovely ring 2 them

What, so you're hoping for some strong Queensland leadership too?

I see the plan now.
Drive popularity down for 2 years.
Then when natural correction starts, overinflate it as “we have momentum” using compliant media to reinforce and trick Australia into voting for the “rejuvenated” Dutton over the “struggling “ albo.

Isn't this what O'Brien and Guy just tried, and only managed to get the LNP's worst election result ever, even after being decimated last time?

We're on a very Vic-centric board.

Perhaps there are on-the-fence voters in Qld just waiting to see if Dutton really is pro-pedo before they will vote for him. /s

Maybe the real strategy is to work on solidifying the nutters into the LNP camp rather than letting them drift to ON or Clive. If you want racism and pro-pedo content, then the LNP is your place. Then when the election gets closer they can pretend to care about "working families" who might buy it if they're having a bad time of it.

credlin i say. if anyone can do more damage 2 the reactionaries chances than spud she’s the one.

Good choice. Or they could try the Rudd Mk2 tactic, and go back to Abbott or Morrison. Or Taylor, maybe with Cash as deputy - that would wipe out all their remaining seats in both NSW and WA. Tbh, they have NO potential leadership talent in their ranks, as the tweet says. Completely devoid of up-and-comers.
Glorious, just glorious.
Nats aren't placed much better. The only real choice they have is Chester - but with the fruit loops like Canavan and McKenzie in there, he's no chance.
ALP, Greens, Teals and Pocock are well-placed to make some real positive policy choices and pass much-needed legislation between now and 2028 - let's hope they don't blow the chance.

This we're the party of the working classes is a curious twist from the guy whose party incorporated deliberate wage suppression as part of it's policy over ten years in government. He must think the rest of Australia is as bog stupid as the dickheads in Dickson who keep re-electing him.

The LNP has no other options, they're stuck with him.
Spud hosting a pity party for himself on the floor of the house. Per the Graund blog.
Women are there because of their experience their skills and their work ethic and as the leader of the Liberal Party I want to see more women and more people from diverse backgrounds, especially those with a migrant or Indigenous heritage, join our party and our parliament.

Unquestionably, a factor which can discourage women from pursuing political office is the reprehensible treatment that several female politicians have received online in recent times, and obviously such behaviour is not limited to Liberal women but women of centre right views are subjected to some of the most disgusting vitriol online and social media dominated by the extreme and insidious left.

When women have a set of right persuasion said harassed by people like former MP Nicole Flint and senator Jacinta Price they’ve been subjected to even this very day.

No wonder they’re hesitant to pursue a political career.

He’s got nothing except reviving Abbott’s playbook - yell great big new tax whenever anyone tries to get anything done.

Even his own party are starting to question if this stuff is what they should be doing given the recent election shellacking.

What a moron.

Abbott had Credlin. Love or hate her the retail politics she had him do as opp leader was remarkable.

They had a few tough points STOP the boats/tax/waste. All other stuff voted with Gillard Gove making Gillard govt one of the most effective legislation govts.

Dutton has no coherent strategy, and the electorate is probably wise to it anyway
