Just opposing it is enough, it's sunk the referendum; all the closet racists are now officially empowered.Eh I can see the chance that it fails.
But it won’t be via any cogent argument raised by the LNP

Maybe, maybe not. There are less of them every day. Aston shows things can happen. QLD will be tough although theyJust opposing it is enough, it's sunk the referendum; all the closet racists are now officially empowered.
There was never any chance of Dutton supporting the Voice. His survival as leader depends on him having a political win over his opponent here.

Nah, most people dislike Dutton.
This might help the yes vote.
Maybe, maybe not. There are less of them every day. Aston shows things can happen. QLD will be tough although they
have an ALP state govt. so there is some hope. I think TAS will be OK and WA as well. Still positive. Labor are next level
on campaigning these days compared to the LNP so I still have faith this will get up. If it does, it further *s the coalition.
Today was fairly compelling and judging by the response of the public it may have resonated. Australians historically aren’t yes voters. It will be a lot closer and not as clear cut as many want to believeLooking at his track record of late he doesn't seem to be convincing anyone of anything.

I think (and maybe I’m being too generous) all it means is that albo has judged and made the choice to ignore Dutton vs to engage with what are likely non genuine questionsWTF does that pompous ass of an answer mean?
Dutton asks dozens of questions - questions he himself could do some basic research on but chooses not to. Because he is not after answers.
And those questions HAVE been answered. Not all directly by Albanese but by the people who have the understanding and expertise to give authoritative answers. You referenced one of those answers yourself.
WHAT has been Dutton's response to these answers? Has he been satisfied? Has he even replied?
But that is not the point is it? Because this is just a political game being played by Dutton not in a legitimate effort to clarify community concerns about an initiative that has overwhelming support in general terms but to amplify them for political gain. To secure a much needed political victory to secure his position within his own party.
And if those questions get answered, more will arise. And on it goes. Cynical self-serving politicking at its absolute worst that eats away at public trust in our government - with the Indigenous Community as a pawn. What a disgrace.
'Such is that choice'
FMD.

Yet its not all over.I think (and maybe I’m being too generous) all it means is that albo has judged and made the choice to ignore Dutton vs to engage with what are likely non genuine questions
Benefit of engagement maybe convinces some to switch vote to yes (not Dutton but others) but risks conferring legitimacy on an otherwise irrelevant opposition
Vs chosen path of ignoring/ dismissing duttons questions, judging that the voting public sees Dutton as a useless parasite with no vision, no plan and all he has is Nancy Reagan’s just say no. And that he would not convince many by answering questions
Did I say it was? All I said is that Dutton is not worth engaging on the issue, nothing more or less than this.Yet its not all over.
Fair call. I will edit my response to remove the unnecessary personal chiding.I think (and maybe I’m being too generous) all it means is that albo has judged and made the choice to ignore Dutton vs to engage with what are likely non genuine questions

Seriously? Even members of his own party have come out to criticise Dutton's statement. His comments about the Voice being a 'Canberra' model that ignored regional voices was a flat out lie.Today was fairly compelling
Dealing himself into the debate, saying no to The Voice is arguably the first chance Dutton has to be relevant as opposition leader since the election last year.Seriously? Even members of his own party have come out to criticise Dutton's statement. His comments about the Voice being a 'Canberra' model that ignored regional voices was a flat out lie.
The only people who would have found that tripe compelling would be rusted on Dutton supporters - not because what he and his inept deputy had to say were strong on either facts or logic.
It was a cry for division to secure Dutton's floundering position within his own party - using Indigenous Australians as a platform.
A signal of just how low the Liberals have sunk.
Well they're not smart enough to keep it going. It will be 2
Surely they're not stupid enough to blow up the party
Exactly more misleading liesAlso reckons the Attorney General - Dreyfus doesn't support it - unbelievable BS.
Pushed all his chips in.
Yep.He's David Cameron twenty minutes after the Brexit result if this gets up.
