Do you have any idea what this figure represents in % terms?

Was 9.58% success rate up to end of 2013. As not call cases have been translated not sure the exact number since than to work out how many losses. Wins on appeals are so rare they get translated quickly. I know it's under 9% now.

Grazie mille!!

Almost in Buckley's and none territory, then...

I am just pretending that this is some kind of double bluff

Lance, just monitor the next 4-6 months of fed media. It may be interesting.

The EFC insurers are in the hole currently for 20M, give or take. Their only logical way to get this reduced is for the players to wear more culpability.

The players are playing with fire putting off any claims.

But maybe the insurance co have even insisted on the appeal. Gives them more time. It is in their interest for the players to be seen as culpable. Plenty of games being played still imo.

What a perfectly constructed analogy.

It is very similar to all the criminals in jail being innocent, which is the common analogy used on here to describe the Essendon players.

You have probably used it yourself many times, liked it even more probably

I have done neither, actually.

Though I am building up to helluva post in which I compare James Hird to Adolf Hitler.

I for one cannot wait for the melts from the Australian media when they find out the case will be run in one of German, French, Italian or Romansh :D

Better than just run in CAS, no one except for a bunch of Essendon haters understood that language, - hang on !, that would be the bulk of the AFL's 800,000 members.

I've already explained to you how. Talking heads in the media, so called experienced lawyers, talk crap like how de novo shouldn't have applied. A law graduate cuts through all this BS and explains it for what it is, not for what someone with an obvious agenda is trying to spin.

My point is that even someone like a recent law graduate seems more reasoned, knowledgeable and logical than a veteran lawyer like Gordon who should know better. Hence why his little FAQ there made them look like incompetent fools. That isn't sucking on his wang, that's just stating facts that anyone with a brain can observe and take in.

So then it goes back to your ridiculously condescending post. The guy you were replying to was a law student/graduate. So what? You're just being a prick for the sake of it.
did you really just call me a prick?
