It is now getting ridiculous. I think this should be abandoned now. Obviously people have committed to something they had no intention of following through and give due respect to all the other participants.
How f****ng hard is it if you are not able to get on for whatever reason to PM your choice/s to someone else and provide your selection details.

Sorry bout the hold up guys, been off watching some NFL on my day off.

31. Fremantle (Wizard9) - Rhyce Prismall

Medium sized, half forward/midfielder. Is very good around goals and its pretty tough for someone that isn't overly big.

Its an interesting stage and I was a bit surprised you took Weeks in front of one or two others.

As you say Melb need that type of player and he could develop into a very good utility. Can kick goals and play HBF or wing.

Not a bad size so will be interesting to see how the body shape develops.

Renouf is a good player and I think you are right he was best ruck still there.

Will be interesting to see which other ruckmen are taken

LH - can I make a suggestion that when we finish at end of Rd 4 or 5 we each submit the players left that we would like to see taken in rookie for our respective clubs. That way we could see who is the most popular out of the remaining players and get a bit of a run down on them.

Good idea Snoop :thumbsu:

Nice pick, would fit into Freo's lineup well IMO :thumbsu:

With Gardiner and Members not going to be on our list next year, West Coast will need a ruckman, capable of holding his own at AFL level. Gaspar and McDougal appear gone also, so someone who can play as a key forward would be ideal also. As there appears to be a Ruck/Key forward who could play AFL next year, and potentially have a lot of development left also

Pick 32. West Coast - Kurt Tippet

I rate this kid pretty highly, and am stoked he lasted to pick 32 (hopefully that's not the pick we end up with ;) ). Is an excellent mark, great leap, great agility and a beautiful kick for someone who has only been playing the game for a year or so. Could play AFL next year and has scope for a fair bit of improvement. Could be a bolter come draft day, wouldn't surprise me if he went top 20 or so.

34. Adelaide (Thunderstruck) -

whoops forgot I was doing Sydney

pick 33. Sydney - Nathan Djerrkura.

May slide due to his height, but he is a quality player. He's a midfielder with excellent pace, great skills (on his prefered side, can't recall him using his left, as he usually has enough pace to get onto his right foot). He is one of those players who can play as an outside midfielder or go in and get his own footy. He is also very strong through the hips, making him hard to tackle. He is a very hard worker and often runs player down from behind.

Pick 26 - Richmond

One part of me wanted to take the safe bet and draft someone who I had actually seen (Jackson Sherringham was one who sprung to mind), but i've just opted to go for a smokey with this pick in Caleb Mourish.

I know this pick is purely speculative and I doubt anything like this would ever transpire, but I really, really like the sound of him. I've read reports on him from PRE, BB and HHQ so i've got a decent opinion of him. He's 194cm, runs like the wind, has a decent leap and isn't a bad kick for goal. He very much fits into the Goodes/Franklin mould of athletic, tall KPP/Midfielders.

I think Wallace would like to draft someone like him. :thumbsu:
Good pickup PH.Wouldnt suprise me at all if we read out his name if he was still available.;)

Adelaide - Pick #34 Justin Westhoff (Central District)

http://www.cdfc.com.au/htmplayers/23JustinWesthoff.htm

~ 197cm 84kg

He may be turnining 20 in October, but he has come along in leaps and bounds this year. Kicked 30 goals in 14 games and averaged around 11 touches a game. Very strong overhead mark, terrific judge of the ball in flight, put his hands up and takes clean grabs. Very accurate kick, and a long kick, will kick them from 50 no problem. Skinny frame, needs a lot of bulking up but has outmarked many good fullbacks and stronger bodied opponents from just judging ball in flight a lot better. Not slow either, got a bit of pace and almost has a skinny wingman look when he runs quickly, and can turn on a 1 cent piece, very agile, not lead footed like a lot of KP can be.

With a bit of weight work he could add another dimension to the Adel forward line that needs a tall marking player who can kick goals. Justin is local, he wont go home and would be a good replacement for Fergus Watts, but is a better player IMO.

Don't think HBF was going that route, i have a fair idea who he wanted....don't know whether to wait for him or keep going? I am 95% sure who he was hoping to select

Carlton - Pick 19 - Chris Schmidt (SA)

Very smart footballer who uses the ball very well. Could play on a HBF and eventually move up onto a wing. IMO, the second best player in the U18 champs behind Bryce Gibbs

Was good watching him and Connors play on each other on the wing, was it him that cleaned up Connors or the other way around can't remember now. Good choice HBF, has Lachlan George gone yet?
