Pykie said:Amazing that theres still an All-Australian out there, a guy whom i thought was easily in the top 5 guys in second div.
Just shows, that this is nothing like what it will be on the day, way to many guys slipped imo.
And 3 ruckman for the whole draft? i dont think so.

macca69 said:It appears Phillhawk isn't interested in this anymore, failing to post here despite being online for his last 2 picks, so would you like to takeover for Richmond?
Pykie said:It has to be either Colbung or Bird.
Bird being an in and under clearance king, averaged 23 touches for the carnival, ranked second in hard ball gets with 18, had 17 tackles - 3rd overall, and was daylight ahead of anyone in the champs averaging 7.0 clearances per game,(nearest player averaged 3). to put that in perspective if he averaged 7.0 in the AFL this year, he would of beaten Chris Judd (6.3) by around a massive 20 clearances to win the most in the AFL. Was All-Australian, NSW/ACT B & F, NSW has a good history of churning out excellent hard working midfielders. I believe he is one of those players who are a must in modern day teams, a unbelievable steal at this point in the draft, Colbung is also to be honest.
LukeHodge15 said:u joking, i thought this would pretty much replicate what happens on draft day![]()
I'm always keen on learning, what players have slipped in your opinion. be interested to hear ?? Rather than u just having pot shots and saying "way to many players have slipped imo"
macca69 said:So are you interested in filling in for Richmond in the next few rounds, and then potentially have your own team from the very start the next time we do this?
Pykie said:Id say some main slips being:
Bird
Colbung
Dzufer
Eddy
Mitch Brown
Jarryd Allen
With guys like Moss and Benjamin going a tad high. Moss around early to late third round, and Benjamin in the 20's somewhere.
LukeHodge15 said:Eddy - guessing he will be rookied, just dont think he brings anything special to teh table.
Mitch Brown - I rate his brother very high, i dunno bout mitch
Pykie said:Sydney and Adelaide alike have shown, that guys who run hard and have huge tanks are much more reliable and consistent than the flashy players.
eddy fits into this perfectly, has an enormous tank.
I thought Mitch brown was best on ground when they played S.A, kicked a bag, was in absolutely everything and displayed how good he is at FF. Good kick, superb hands, perfect body shape for AFL KPP, quick for a guy his size, and a good compeitior.
Ive said over and over again, reminds me of Brendan Fevola, and like Fevola will be a 50+ a season forward in the AFL.
LukeHodge15 said:Eddy - passed over this time last year IIRC. And has he shown improvement in his game to justify getting taken in this years draft, i dunno.......i doubt it.
Likely rookie imo
Mitch Brown - so wanna see the BROWN brothers Draft Camp Results. Should tell us more, recruiters still wary of taking big dinosaurs in todays footy.
LukeHodge15 said:pykie, interesting to hear who else has slipped in our draft.
And also who else was taken way to early.
