Bird being an in and under clearance king, averaged 23 touches for the carnival, ranked second in hard ball gets with 18, had 17 tackles - 3rd overall, and was daylight ahead of anyone in the champs averaging 7.0 clearances per game,(nearest player averaged 3). to put that in perspective if he averaged 7.0 in the AFL this year, he would of beaten Chris Judd (6.3) by around a massive 20 clearances to win the most in the AFL. Was All-Australian, NSW/ACT B & F, NSW has a good history of churning out excellent hard working midfielders. I believe he is one of those players who are a must in modern day teams, a unbelievable steal at this point in the draft, Colbung is also to be honest.

I can do it, fill in for now for richmond, but for a new one i would only do the kangaroo's, i dont know the main descrpencies in the lists of other clubs as accurately as others.

Richmond need a bit of nuggety in-and-under power, and going on the best-available rule, would definately take bird over Colbung at this point.

Definately not dinosaurs, agility results will be very surprising i think.

Well Eddy has to have shown improvement, you dont just walk into an All-Australian gurnsey in a pool of under-18's as good as this, you find alot of under age guys get looked over. If he went to the Rookie would be an increadible steal for the club, the sort of guy that will consistently tear up the VFL

Well i quite like Chris Dawes personally.

I know he has done his knee, and would be a big gamble, but a for a pick 50+ or a rookie spot this guy would be a steal.

Has Barry Hall written all over him, and the attitude to boot, Leigh Adams i thought was a slight slip seeing as he has had a very consistent year, and a very good championships.

Selwood is the second best midfielder of the draft without a doubt, even with a suspect knee, anything after the 5th or 6th pick is a bargain, would have gone top 5 last year if elidgable, rated him as good as murphy, has the best set of hands on him in donkey's years (hands in traffic that is). SMART SMART SMART.
