Yeah there’s some pretty massive discrepancies in the prospective draft orders. I’ve been keeping an eye on Zac Taylor (personal bias rather than club needs) who seems to be rated anywhere from top 10 to mid 30’s. Obviously it’s been a tough environment to gauge the talent.

NGA not relevant in the top 18. If any team with a first-round selection nominates an NGA player, that cannot be matched with points by the club whose academy the player is tied to. NGA only comes in from round 2 onwards. That means we can't select a player from an NGA with our pick 20 (22) without it being matched but it also means that we won't be bumped back by any NGA matched bids throughout the first round. However, this does not apply to the northern academies. The NSW and QLD clubs still get to rort the system and take anyone who ever flew in an aeroplane over their shitty states.

Kermonds hamburgers down my way are legendary old school burgers. They've opened up a shop in Geelong now as well.

And even though the burger talk needs to be in another thread, I'm going to upvote this one!

We would drive 33 miles to Warrnambool for Kermond's Burgers in the 70's with my parents. Back then I remember them being simple, but perfect. The onion cut into small pieces, onto the oiled grill, scoop of mince, squashed really thin with a brickie's trowell (point cut off) and singed with the heat. Egg and very thinly cut bacon so it goes crispy layered on as each item is cooked and the bun toasted lightly. A bit of chopped iceburg lettuce on the bottom half of the (white bread) bun, some sauce on the top then assembled, bagged and that is all folks.

No franchise burger belongs in the same damn street as Kermonds.
