no way Adelaide pick a non-South Australian with 8 or 13 and Geelong just picked up dalhous and rohan for their pressure forward needs, Geelong might also be second guessing picking up West Australians with ties back home at this point.
Lakosuis,Rozee, and Rankine all be selected in the top 5.

Hately is the fourth best SA kid, Crows will at 8 or Port at 10.

Then they have picks 13, and 16. Port has pick 15.

Fifth best SA is Valentine, they might go Valentine.
This is going to change I am sure between now and the draft but my current preferences in order are:

Hill
Caldwell
Stocker
Same.

All three might be taken.

I'm hoping we get Stocker (explosive inside mid with good skills on both feet - TAC bnf off limited games - good mates with brayshaw) with the 1st and hill slides to our 2nd (or we upgrade 31 and 43 for something higher to get him - Richmond had a few go out maybe they would like some extra picks in exchange for 17)

Also, I just notice that in both the '17 & '18 highlights video, that Hill was matched up against Sam Walsh a few times, more so in the 2017 game.

Hill thrashed him in 2017, and Walsh features across both videos, either getting completely burnt by Hill or, trying to evade him unsuccessfully in a tackle.

Stocker/Caldwell + Hill would be amazing.

I know there is some talk Hill gets into the 20s, but I'll only believe that when I see it.

Sturt and Taylor are my other choices. You're probably right about Caldwell - will do a Burton or a Witherden and be picked at 20 because of injury and in 2 years time we'll all be wondering why we didn't pick him up

I don't mind Sturt or Taylor if we think they can play mid, but hesitant to pick up pure forwards at 14. Midfield is now clearly our weakness (although natural forwards are always useful).

iHill is the exception because I think he is freakish and because sentiment.

Yep, you'd think that after the past few years interstate clubs would be very wary of using 1st round picks on WA kids unless it's top 5 talent.

Any other club that picks up Ian Hill knows Freo will be in his ear before trade night finishes. Way too much risk for them to burn a top 10 pick.

Definitely Ian Hill with #14. We need speedy and skilful smalls at the feet of our talls. Jay Clark will be gone by our pick imo.

Otherwise whoever is left of Caldwell, Stocker, Taylor or Sturt.

Hopefully we can upgrade #31 or #43 a bit. But probably need to be a bit careful with points.

Would like Xavier O'Halloran with our second pick. Otherwise Ely Smith or Jack Bytel.

Marlion Pickett with third pick.

Hill, O'Halloran, Pickett, Carter (Cat B), Medhat (Cat B) would be a great draft haul imo.

This pickett kid seems like a good wild card.

#1 Riley Collier-Dawkins

The tall midfielder was enjoyable to watch, producing an influential first half in particular that garnered 13 disposals. He was strong and clean in congestion, often getting his arms high to release or accelerating with eye catching flair into the forward half. He kicked a great goal in the first term, turning into the arc to finish brilliantly from 45 metres out. He is good overhead too, which is a pretty handy trait for a mid at 193cm, taking two strong marks from opposition kicks. He even spent some time in the ruck late, winning a couple of hit outs to advantage to the surprise of many. The first round prospect fought hard all day for his 19 disposals.
