i think trading down picks within the top 5 or 6 could be a positive move... only if we could achieve something like getting a salopek (for eample) and then drafting a selwood... who will be a very, very good player... he's draftable for sure based on his talent but the fact he's a Bendigo boy would make it a little more tempting.

cant deny the guy has talent, whether he utilises his talent is another question to be raised, but i think if he was played in the correct spot under the correct tutor we could get the best out of him as Terry daniher did when he was assistant at collingwood.

He has SOME talent, but has consistantly failed to deliver year after year.
He is an extremely poor kick for goal, has missed several "clutch" goals that would have won Collingwood games and averages 1.5 goals a game.
If he was used as a CHF or a HFF and was delivering to players that could kick goals, ie he was getting the ball around the wing area, he would be of use to some clubs.
Not Essendon though.

umm i beg to differ, CHF wing area is where we have failed to punch past with explosive quick delivery, if we had lucas on one side and tarrant on the other it would make it a lot easier for our backmen to kick to a leading target. It would also stretch opposition backmen.
I wouldnt use him as and inside 50 forward that would be disastrous, id use him as a hff extra midfielder type.
