I would agree with most of that but I would have Bonar about the same as Murphy and Richards

With out injury Bonar probably go top two or three, or even one. The kid can play by all reports.

I've gone from Fogarty, to Cerra and now I think I've arrived at Murphy.

I think the only reason people don't want Murphy is because he hasn't been spoken about as a top selection. If he was being discussed as one of the top 5, people would look at his highlights and hope like hell he falls to us.

I just don’t get the excitement over Josh Daicos and Callum Brown. A star? I don’t even see a best-22 player yet.

Daicos navigates through traffic like a taxi driver on speed. His field kicking is elite.

I’ve gone back and looked at his highlights, and I know they are highlights but they are more impressive than I first thought. Really clean ball user which is definitely a list need.

I’m more ok with him at 6 than I thought.

So what? Where a player was rated before draft time becomes irrelevant after they’re drafted. As it stands, Daicos seems to look way more comfortable at senior level than Brown and has better skills to boot. Callum’s ceiling looks like it will be the equivalent to Josh Thomas tbh.

Can see half of Hine's head, Rendell, Shepherd. Maybe even Milesi?

Have to be strongly considering a kid if you're sending your whole recruitment team to the one game.

Exactly, the kids will develop at different rates, #10 in this draft may surpass #1 by the end of the first season. That’s what makes the draft a bit of a lucky dip. It must be much easier to draft in the NFL/NBA because they’re more mature and probably already playing to their true potential.

Is he the stats fanatic? I always thought that was more likely to be Hine. He loves pulling out the stats to justify a selection of a player in order to fulfil one of our deficiencies.

Also just worth consider, although I could be wrong, but at the time our recruiters spoke to Murphy (apparently before all other teams) and watched his game(s), we may then have been expecting or hoping finish top 8 and therefore have pick 11+.
