Anyone else from blocks around Gate 16 in bewilderment that they closed up the pie shop after half time? Headed down just before 3/4 time to buy some pies for the kids for dinner and here are the Delaware people counting their dollars. Scooted upstairs only to find those shut as well. Asked a couple of the stadium ladies what was the go only to be told they didn't know and thought it was bizarre. I approached one of the Delaware Suits to be told to go to block 130, **** what a shit fight over a quarter of the stadium converging on one outlet at 3/4 time. Gave up and went back to the footy.

Wondering if Delaware are milking all they can prior to getting the flick when the stadium closes. The Domain Charter talks about the Customer Experience well they got right. Poor form Domain and Delaware.

And as for the kids they hung out for Macca's on the way home for half the price.

Last season Delaware invested serious $$ to put them in a strong position for the new stadium tender

They also operate the WACA and if you've been there lately they've also invested $$ there, in conjunction with the WACA.

You can bet your left *** that they won't be investing anymore money and milking all profits to recover what's lost

If they had it closed, then it would have been a resource issue - as in they simply wouldn't have hired that many for the day.

There are some smaller vendors that are outsourced but I don't think the pie one you are referring to is.

Do not expect any price reductions nor an increase in service for the next two seasons.

Can't believe they got rid of the donut stand near gate 8 and replaced it with a coffee stand. Those donuts were the best.

I have had people tell me the hole in them was bigger to Increase profits.
Is that the bigger hole Ross was talking about that he'd been in?

what a shame they didn't win it hey. I'm hoping it had something to do with how they ran Subiaco like a 19th century factory owner but something tells me the next stadium we'll be paying through the nose again. Though at least we won't be sitting on wooden benches.

**** me. Talk about first world problems!

People pay a very hefty sum to get into the footy and for a good many, it is their principal entertainment expenditure for the fortnight. It is therefore entirely reasonable for them to form a view of the quality of the experience and amenities.

It is no more a "first world problem" than any thoughts about the football at all... a subject to which the entire forum is dedicated.

Indeed, if your focus was on problems that were not related to the first world then you could not be looking in a less appropriate place.

Try the Bratwurst or the stuffed spuds near the TAB on the northern side of the ground. I'm getting a lump in my trouser just thinking about them.
