Johnson no way! I've been impressed with his game every time he comes into the AFL side.

He is ok. But if the value is there he is a dime a dozen. Easily replaced.

WCE traded 2018 first round pick (18) + pick 50
GC traded 2018 second round pick (22) + pick 21, 26 & 37

Any other club and half the footy department would be sacked over a trade like that.

The saints would have expected their second pick (which we hold) would have been a fair bit later.

i don't think so. He took less than the 5 year $600k deal which is what north had offered, but i assume it wasn't less than his previous contract. But we never found out what the actually figure was.

I’ll be keen to see how he goes, new he hadnt played much and was highly rated draftee.
Since he hadn’t played yet this year, thought h may be easy to lure back to SA

Give Francis a miss. He signed s contract and then asked for transfer. Did the favour for the Dons. Did us, and hence himself, no favours. Loser of the greatest order.

That would be key. Someone on here suggested he is so unhappy in Melb we will walk if a trade doesn't get done, if thats true he could be quite cheap as he then has very little value. If its not then Essendon would probably want too much, probably a first rounder knowing them.

No chance they get a first, id be offering our pick 51 certainly not giving up any of our first 3. Got talent, but proven nothing.

I'd pick up Ryan Schoenmakers as a free agent.

27 year old who can play as second forward or back.

He's not that good but he fits our list and would be cheap.

At worst he helps out the magpies structure and is back up considering we are light on for talls in attack and defence.

As a DFA maybe. I wouldn’t pay anything for him.
