We have 7 games remaining and 5 at home. The two away games are against top 4 teams.
We also play 3rd and 6th and danger games against Freo and port.

We stand 2 games clear of third and a heap of percentage.

We stand 4 games clear of 5th and a heap of percentage.

4 more wins pretty well gaurantees a top 2 finnish,2 more wins a top 4. We might get away with less.

With whats ahead I consider it an Ideal preperation for the finals.

Destiny awaits.

Yes its all up to us and top spot is not that important as 2nd is just the same

16-17 wins will secure a top two spot this year, wins against Kangaroos, West Coast and Collingwood will seal the deal, cant honsetly seeing us losing any of those games.

I think it is important as it determinds who you play, if the ladder as it stands now was at the end of Rnd 22 I would rather play the Bulldogs than the Demons in the first week of the finals.

IMO, The only game that has a question mark regarding the out come would be the West Coast Eagles clash in Perth but saying that the next 4 or 5 week the training will be increased to help gain a better fitness base before the finals and the result could depend on how much energy the players have. By round 20 NC should start to taper off the training and getting the squad ready for the finals.

13 – 2 after round 15

I think we may only lose two more games (West Coast Eagles and a fast running Western Bulldogs) to finishing with a record of 18 Wins and 4 losses. That would be ample to gain us a top 2 spot.

I think we will beat the Eagles, we have been home a couple of weeks travel wont be an issue, think our midfeild is good enough our defence will be able to hold their forwards and we have a good enough attack to kick a winning score.

Bulldogs we should win also as we will have to many talls for the Bulldogs to handle, think also we can move the ball as quick as any otherside, must play well as it is only run on the 'G' before the GF.

My main worry at the moment is Melbourne the Rnd 22 encounter at AAMI is a very good warm up for the finals, they just about match us everywhere.

6 rounds remaining and 4 of them are at home.

We are now 3 games clear of 3rd and a heap of percentage.

We are 4 games clear of 5th and a heap of percentage.

One thinks we will get a home final to put us in a pre lim.

Under Neil craig our worst record is 5 losses from 9 games back in 04,two of them losses were to the grand finalists that year.We have only lost 4 games of footy at AAMI in the last 22,half of them to West Coast. All games we had a decent shot late at winning.

If we win next week we then appear in a similar postion in regards to the mclelland trophy.

I'd like to play them again and get revenge, there will be no repeat of last year.

Freo knocking off Melbourne has basically wrapped up a top two spot if it wasnt already.

Agreed, top two nearly wrapped up and a win against West Coast should finalise it.

Most of the sides below us will be playing each other over the next few weeks so unless one of them gets on a roll then top two is all but assured with a win next week.

The numbers aint as good this week:rolleyes:

We are 2 games clear of third and some pecentage,we play third in rnd 22.

we are 3 games clear of 5th and some percentage.

5 rounds remaining and two of the top 5 we play at home with a game against the bullies away,Freo at home and a showdown.

A little better this week.

4 rounds left three at home against Port,Freo and Melbourne.

We are 3 games clear and a heap of percentage of Third, who we play in Rnd 22.

We are 4 games clear and a heap of percentage clear of 5th.

One more win and we cant in any way be removed from the top 4.

1 more win and we won't be removed from top 2. :thumbsu:

If the Finals started tomorrow:

Adelaide v Sydney (AAMI)
WCE v Melbourne (Subi)
St.Kilda v Fremantle (TD/MCG)
Collingwood v WB (MCG)

I tell you what, I'm very concerned about the Swans sneaking up to 4th. I would much prefer to play the Dogs as we match up well against them.

You can safely bank that double chance right now. The mathematics of it requires two teams to overtake our hefty percentage.

We've had the wood on the Swannies for a while, and played at AAMI, I'd feel happy with that.

If we come to Play the pressures on Sydney,we are there bogey side.According to reports they prefered to play WC than us in last years GF.

However if they played us they would be the underdog, and they thrived on that last year.

I would say too, but I remember last week.

I'll gladly take the Swans thanks. If there's any team we match up well against, it's Sydney. We have much classier midfield. We have the defence to keep Hall and co quiet. (What has Hall ever done against us?) And if our forward line is average, their defence is worse.

There's a reason we've won 6 of the last 7 against them.

And although they've yet to show it against us, the Bulldogs have the potential to kill us with their quick ball movement the same way West Coast do.

Throwing caution to the wind, we won't lose a top two spot. Only the Dees can toss us out as all the other sides have lost 7 games and as we have won 15 at the very best Sydney, Collingwood, St Kilda, Western Bulldogs can do is draw even with 15 wins. As Melbourne play Sydney next week, I'll stake my left testicle that Sydney will beat Melbourne.;)

Plus we have a game against the PAPs, mark it down as a win.
