Was thinking that last night after seeing Adelaide. The Cats could've smashed us week one, but they you have a far easier semi-final on that side of the draw.

It's not just that, but if we lost we got to face Bris/Carl....instead we get to fall back on Adelaide.

There's no question in my mind that third was advantageous to us....even if it was marginally. Every little bit counts.

if we want to win the big dance, we are gonna have to play the cats. this is good, because there team will be underdone (on match experience) with the likes of chapman, ottens, kelly, rooke and s.johnson not playing too much footy with the team before the prelim final. they can turn it on for bursts and equally play sloppy footy for long periods. They CANNOT play 4 qrts of footy! bring em on, whether it be in the prelim or the granny

I reckon thats exactly how the players felt too, they started off horribly today and let the cats jump them.
