Here's a couple that shit me right off:

Jackson Trengove. One R and it's at the start. Not Trengrove. Not Tengrove. And not (yes, someone actually did this) Trentgrove. TRENGOVE.

Lewis Johnston. There is no E on the end of his name. There is definitely a T in there though.

Are there any others that you are just sick and tired of seeing people butcher?

Yarren instead of Yarran

Natanui instead of Naitanui

Anything other then "Ziebell"

What about saying their names right. The whole game on Fox Sports they were mis-pronouncing Aaron Purves' name. Its pronounced Pur-ves. 2 syllables. Rhymes with nervous.

John Bucher instead of John Butcher ;)

One of them said it right once (or at least better) in the last quarter, and then when Purves got the ball again right after, he went right back to calling him "perves".

VC, dont do this to yourself. the only outcome is pain believe me.
I'll have the odd error. Everyone will. I don't care if names are posted wrong now and then by anyone. But really, we've seen these kids names for a couple of years that their names should be right more than they are wrong. Naitanui and Trengove aren't exactly no ones. I honestly reckon Trengove is spelled incorrectly more than it is correctly.

It's not a big deal, but it's just annoying.

If I habitually get a name wrong I want to be told the right way, so I don't keep messing it up.

It's G-A-R-L-E-T-T.

Jeff Garlett finds home at Carlton
"I think his circumstances off the field made a lot of people (clubs) shy away.

"I used to say to a few people, 'Imagine him in the AFL system if he can play like he plays without eating properly, no regular home'.

"Jeff is the perfect example of the problems an indigenous kid faces in Perth without his family." (His parents -- policeman father, nurse mother -- live at Merredin, about two hours east of Perth.)

Parker said Garlett - a first cousin of Buddy Franklin - had been rescued by Swan Districts and two local foster families, Anne and Maurice Embley, parents of West Coast's Andrew, and former club captain and Sandover Medal winner Shane Beros.

While he didn't confirm stories of Garlett regularly sleeping nights in the back of cars, he did say: "He had been by himself in Perth for quite a while without any consistent accommodation.

"He'd come here (the club) on match days and might not have had a proper meal for a couple of days, and we would have to take him into the canteen and give him a roll.

"He needed lifts to and from training, he struggled to hold a job because he didn't have a licence. He hasn't had it easy off the field.
